Pre Raya Trip

This post is all about Pre Raya as I went out with Mama and both my SisSTARS for 2 weeks in a row just so we can prep for Hari Raya 2015 which is happening in like 2 months.

First, this was a trip to Arab Street to shop for materials in which we will go to a tailor to sew in Malaysia the following week.

We whacked so much food here!! I just couldn't!

As you can tell from the pictures above, LOTS of camwhoring was done with Raihan.
Hahaha

I bought a really cool pink long singlet with splashes of black paint all over and I wore it the following week for NiggAPACHE's 2nd anniversary. This was just a little something extra other than the Raya outfit.

Next, we went to Tekka and we shopped there a little. Well, my key takeaway was my MVP: My Eyeliner!!!

My sisters bought more clothes, and they were pretty but I just don't have any pics. The ones I have was from the restaurant that we ate at.

I have fish balls for cheeks!!!

I've got a pervert for a sister!

Now you know, where she gets it from. hehehe

I am not going to show the picture of the Raya outfit because it is going to be a...SURPRISE!!!!

It is really cool and I know I'll love it!

All I can say is, we, The Mazlans are going green this year. It may not be all the same shades but that is what that makes it interesting!!!

Next, MALAYSIA, truly Asia! hahaha I just had to add that part in.

As mentioned earlier, we went there to sew the outfits as we all bought materials and not ready-made outfit.

I had work the previous day so I was rushing to leave and meet my family. I had no idea what to wear.. so it was just my pink hoodie and yoga pants for me. Inside, I wore my butterfly fringe top. My outfit turned out great as it was easy to take measurements for my outfit.

LOTS OF VIDEOS!!!! Hahaha

Experimenting with the slow-motion feature on Raihan's phone!

We had street Vadais and Chendol which was AMAZING!!!

I bought a sparkly metallic top and I already know the perfect event to wear it for. Hopefully, it'll be up on my blog soon.

I was also really happy that day because I got to be a mermaid for a day. Why? Because I tried this outfit at the same shop we gave our materials to sew, which was a light sea blue / green with a mermaid cut and a tube like top. I felt like a bride!!! It was that gorgeous!! But also a mermaid. I would've called myself Ariel if I had red hair! hahaha

Next, it was PIZZA! Time to have dinner and my family wanted Pizza Hut. Well.. I LOVED the cheesy stuffed crust. It's been so long since I last had one with the stuffed crust. It was so good. But, I honestly prefer the Pizza Hut outlets in Singapore. The food (Garlic Bread, Pizza Flavors etc...) and even the service I choose to think is better.

I wanted dessert so bad but even their Lava Cake on the menu was no longer available. :'(

Well... I did have my dessert later on.. But first, let me show y'all the pizza!!!

We get it from our Mama!

I have never heard of this brand called Pappa Roti. Apparently, the breads the have is amazing. But I wanted my dessert so bad that I opted for the Vanilla Ice Cream.

And.. NO REGRETS! IT WAS THAT GOOD!!

I went home that day with my new sparkly top, happy that I have my Hari Raya outfit sewed, grateful for the time spent with my family and for the crazy fun and good food we had, brought back my fav Vanilla Twiggies and also a whole loaf of Banana Cake!

#Foodie

Well, I will always love food!

Well, that is all for now! Even blogging this during my break in school is making me hungry.

Haha

Loots - Frozen Frenzy X The Paper Stone

This blog post is with regards to my latest obsession. One just started and has still yet to end which is Frozen.. hehehe

And the other has been my all time obsession.. NOTEBOOKS!!!

Well, Heaven knows why but I suddenly got hit with the Frozen Frenzy. It started with me walking into Breadtalk and then I saw all these beautiful Frozen buns which are apparently known as the Spring Cones, Snow Cones which are like Ice Popsicles (sorta) and also Frozen Cakes. In my head I was like why? Isn't the whole Frozen Frenzy phase over? Nope!

Recently when Cinderella hit theaters, they also had an exclusive short film. It was titled Frozen Fever. The whole Frozen theme in Breadtalk was nspired by that original new tale which centers on Elsa and Kristoff trying to conjure the ultimate birthday celebration for Anna. Might I add. the teeny tiny snowmen were ADORBZ!!! They were so mini! I wanted one!

BreadTalk unveils a limited edition "Frozen Fever" collection which brings favorite Frozen characters to life through delightful bakes featuring the lovable ensemble. And yea they are truly delightful all right!

So I started off with trying Kristoff and Anna and then much later on I tried Elsa and Olaf. I was more intrigued by the Spring Cones as compared to the Snow Cones. Also, ever since then, I listened to "Let It Go" at least once a day. I couldn't help it and Elsa's dress!!! That I love when I first saw the movie with The NiggAPACHE! And a part of me wished I owned that dress! Hahaha

Well more about the food from Breadtalk!!

Cheese Sausage ($2.30) - with an Elsa character topper is a chicken sausage sweet bun with melted cheese and sprinkled with seaweed.

Custard Raisin ($2.30) - with an Anna character topper is a sweet rendition with a custard fresh cream and raisin filling cloaked in a strawberry chocolate glaze and silver dragees.

Coconut Summer ($1.90) - with Olaf topper and buttery brioche breads glazed with white chocolate and crowned with coconut.

Chocolate Fever ($1.90) - with  Kristoff  topper and buttery brioche breads glazed with dark chocolate and crowned with chopped almonds.

And the super cute cakes!!!

And then.. me! Being a lil piggy and munching on it! This one is Elsa!!!!

I love them all I tell you! Quick! Go try 'em all before the promo ends!

I am enjoying blogging this section mainly because I am indulging in Strawberry flavored Pocky. And also, this part, although notebooks, has to do with food. Confused? You'll be enlightened pretty soon.

I have such a vast number of notebook collection. It ranges from Popular bookstore, to Precious Thoughts but mainly it is from Typo. This semester, I brought a Typo notebook to class to take down notes and so on. No, I am not talking about my planner but just a regular notebook. And it is really PRETTY!!!

Look at it!!!

Well, I went to class after the first week and was just drawn to my friend, Michelle's notebook. The main reason? There were MACAROONS on them! I asked her where she got them from and she said The Paper Stone.

I have heard of it before but didn't know much. So I googled and saw their collection and OH MY! I knew I had to get to the nearest outlet as soon as I can!!!

I made the trip to Lot 1 after my runway show with Pleatation.

I had a rough gage on what to purchase as I already saw them on the website.

Here's the link below:

I fell in love with all of them! Yup, after Typo, this is DEFINITELY a MUST GO place for notebooks I kid you not.

I purchased all these yummy looking items.

A Ring Binder File : Donuts (which coincidentally matched my Donut Crop Top that day)
A Doodle Pad: Bakery (Items like buns, muffins etc...)
Exercise Book: Ice Cream
My Story Book: MACAROONS (actually this was Out Of Stock but the salesgirl was so nice she actually hunted and secretly took one for me from god knows where! Still super thankful.

These were my loots!

I wanted to get the cupcake collection that day but I had not enough money.. Also I was having second thoughts about it and also they only had the journal. The reason why I did not wanted a journal was because I already had my ultra gorgeous pale pink one from Typo. So I left with these 4 items.

But.. I am not lying here when I say that I couldn't sleep. I kept dreaming about cupcakes over and over again. I had to make a second trip and so I did. Round 2 at The Paper Stone.

Thank Goodness I made that trip. Biggest Blessing!!!

I got a cupcake book and it wasn't the journal, it was titled Just Lines.

I managed to complete my full set. I got all the food / dessert books I wanted. 5 different designs. 5 different items in terms of books and even a file!

Now my collection is complete and I can sleep a happy girl!

My Cupcake Book!!!

I already have a ring folder file to use as wedding plan ideas so I am going to use either the notebook or probably The Donut File for my Hayden Williams appreciation collection.

GOSH! I ADORE & LOVE HIS DESIGNS! Those sketches of the dresses are spectacular! I wish I owned every single one of them!

I cannot wait to start both the Hayden Williams collection in my file and also my own wedding concepts and ideas!!

Talking about all these sweet treats got me the urge for eating desserts!!

Soon!!!

Well..

Thank You for reading!!! :)
