Hari Raya Haji 2015

So, Hari Raya Haji eh. The eve of it was where I took my first ever MC ever since internship started. There was a HUGE reason.

My gums were all swollen and I barely could open my mouth to talk, let alone eat! It was that bad. I went to the doctor and I knew the problem... WISDOM TEETH. Our wisdom teeth is supposed to grow aged 18-25. At 18 I had 3 grown wisdom teeth. Yup 3/4 of them. My right side lower one was the culprit for all the pain.

Usually for us girls, we will end up having to undergo a surgery where the dentist cuts open our gums and then extract the tooth. After which he'll sew it back up again. It will require multiple injections into the gum to numb the pain during the surgery.

My top left is the one that hasn't grown out yet. Since I've decided to get the bottom right one removed, I decided to get both my right side out. By right, the dentist was supposed to break the tooth of the surgery into like 3 to 4 pieces and then remove them one by one.

I could tell he was SUPER experienced and good at what he does as he extracted my top right one. Not only that, for the bottom right one that needed surgery, he cut the gum and extracted it, Yup! The WHOLE thing. And it was not even a tad bit painful during the process so his anesthetic worked wonders.

I was suffering for the next few days after the numbness wore off and if you look at the picture I took at the bottom on the morning of Hari Raya Haji, yup, the very next day, it only swelled a bit. Some of my relatives could not even tell. I ended up eating normal food the very same day I had my surgery hahaha

Fortunately for me the experience was not as bad as I feared that even the injection was a berable pain. Thank heavens. I honestly just wanna wait a bit more and am hoping my top left wisdom tooth grows out. Once it does, before it starts to hurt, I'll get both my left side removed. I can't wait and don't want to get more pain! Also I already know my jaw will not have enough space to grow the extra teeth.

Hahaha what a start to Hari Raya Haji eh?!

My younger sister is growing up so fast!!!!! One moment she was the BIGGEST tomboy girl, next thing she's using skirts and dresses and now make up! Hell, she invited 2 of her friends to do her make up and they dressed her up and got her ready.. for like 5 hours! What is becoming of my lil sweet innocent sister?! She's turning into a vain pot! Haha, but you gotta admit, she's growing up and blossoming to becoming more and more beautiful. She's turning 17 this year.. although she and I are only 2 years apart, it's kinda amazing to watch a younger sibling grow and mature and seriously she's stunning! Her hair and her red lipstick, always on point!

I feel kinda sad that the videos aren't being able to be played at least the one with mama giving papa a huge smooch on his cheek for his birthday in one of my previous blog posts can be played.

Hari Raya Haji was fun. It was nice to spend time with my fam and yeap, a lil sleepover with my sisters. But the fun did not stop! We went bowling and who knew a girl like me who has not much skills for bowling, can actually bowl?! hehehe

The best part? I was the 2nd highest with my first time hitting a hundred as a score. My first 3 digits for bowling!

There were 8 of us and we had to mess around and the names we played with if you see the screens for both lanes spells (FUCK THIS).

Some people noticed it, some people didn't. It was still hella fun!

Well, that is all. I just realized I only have one draft blog which is my internship. Well, although some things are filled up, it will only be posted and published in Feb, which will be my last month of internship. That'll sure as hell be lengthy as it's 6 months worth of internship experience being penned down in one blog post.

It's 27th October... Ari's Birthday is tomorrow and I can't wait to present him his gift! A Blackstreet Vinyl with his photos all around hahaha!

Gosh, me and my weird gifts. I swear, I laugh (either with joy or sheer mockery) every time I think of something to present to someone.

4 days till Halloween... then a month till the 8th ASEAN Para Games.. After that, 2.5 more months of internship! Woah, time really does fly! But right now, judging how stressful things are at work, I would want nothing more than for November to pass by as quickly as possible.

Till next time,

When The DON Leaves & Heads To Sweden

This post is about this crazy guy, Yeap DON! This lucky A-Hole got a chance to go to Europe for 2 months for his internship!

Places like Sweden, Amsterdam, Germany and so on.. It's just too good to be true! The best part? Sweden recently changed its work hours and it's no fair!!!

Irregardless, I'm so very happy for this guy cuz he really deserves it. And when you are given a chance to explore, when something new comes your way, if it's an opportunity, SEIZE IT!!! That's exactly what he did and that's just great!

A bunch of people from Sweden came to Singapore and he was their "tour guide" for a bit. He showed them hawker centers, and I think they explored town on their own.

Don wanted to have a group outing before he left us for 2 whole months! We of course said yes! It was a shame that Fariz could not attend.. It would've felt complete.

He decided to show them the Indian culture. We had our outing at Little India & ate at Banana Leaf Apollo.

We showed them around and made small talk. They were really tall! Lisa, the girl, well she's 1.9m and holy shit that's amazing!

The guys were tall too and can I ask to move to Sweden too? Hahaha

To top it off, they were truly inquisitive and really sweet. It's nice to know that they are so down to earth. They were even open to trying the Indian sweets and we all know how sweet it can be like Gulab Jamun etc...

Now, let the pictures do the talking and also cuz I'm tired of typing on my phone. Yeap, today I'm writing it on my phone although I'll publish it tomorrow only.

This is my 4th blog post of the day that I'm working on. Like holy shit balls! Hahaha

A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do when she ends work early. And that would be, selfie spams! Hehe

Well, the guys stayed on and overnight and Sharlini & I sent back the Swedish Peeps and took the train back.

We even hugged them goodbye! Haha for being a black girl and having my diva side, I can pretty white you know. I am actually really white, if only I had the moe my sometimes to get more Starbucks! Haha

Had to sleep early as although the next day was a Saturday, I had to work!!

Some pictures of the guys and their mayhem at night especially around Mustafa!

They watched The Martian and all of them said it was spectacular so I would say, watch it. To me, the must watch movie on my list right now is still The Intern and it's the most apt time!

Well Don, don't take forever in Sweden! I swear we all miss you a whole lot and can't wait for you to be back. I wanna hear all about your adventures in Sweden and can't wait to see all the things you've bought. I really hope you spoilt yourself a bit cuz you truly deserve it!

Well, till next time when you get back and get back safe. We love you too much to allow anything bad happening to you! No one messes with you, except us. After all, we're the NiggAPACHE.

Hopefully, you fill up your notebook. You know what I'm talking about. *inserts pedo face*

I'm glad you actually read it and liked it. Now you can say, you have a woman's perspective on a woman!

DC Cafe X STGCC

DC Cafe

It is here – It first started out in Malaysia and now... Singapore’s first DC Comics Super Heroes Cafe, and it is massive. Walking towards this huge cafe is like unveiling a pot of gold – I went here with some of the guys of The NiggAPACHE and we were amazed, not just by its gargantuan size, but by all the superhero murals and life-sized figurines.
Any fan of DC’s superheroes will be flocking here very soon and we foresee that this cafe will get even more crowded during the weekends and peak hours. The DC Cafe has a dedicated takeaway counter with a mini seating area just for cakes, snacks and drinks, and another bigger space for savoury food.
We cannot deny that we were fan girl-ing HARD. Or, at least I was after admiring Batman and his Batmobile, I took a pick at their pretty desserts – colourful cakes, embossed fondant cupcakes and quirky-named drinks, just to name a few. But, it was rather pricey so I just settled for a scoop of ice cream which cost me $5.90! But at least it came with a Batman logo white chocolate chip.
The Vanilla Brownie flavor was just simply AMAZING! I would definitely have gone back for more had it not been so overpriced.
I would still urge y'all to go as it's a pretty sweet experience and Singapore is so small! Just take a train and head over to MBS, that's at Bayfront!

STGCC

Singapore Toy Game and Comic Convention had descend on Marina Bay Sands and the geek community in Singapore had been out in force. I am not a huge geek or even a gamer girl but I wanted to go & take a look and experience it with the guys.

Guess who were the people I took a pic with? Yeap!!! Cosplayers and not just any, but White Chicks!!!

Those were just some of the picture and the guys made an EPIC, "JUST DO IT" video inspired by the great Shia Labeouf.

I did not buy anything but I was seriously considering the posters cuz they looked super fab!

In the end, the 3 big buyers were Fariz, Aideel & Czy. Asswipe and I at least got a free poster. That was nice.

I did get some goodies like some cutesy kitten flyer which I adored.

It wasn't that bad, pretty cool for my first time I guess.

Haha my blog posts have been so heavy in picture and not so much on the content. Well, I do not have all the time now considering how internship has started and also the very fact that I am blogging at work. Also, a picture does speak a thousand words. I have kept these blog post up here for weeks that it's time to publish them.

There's no better time then NOW..so?

JUST DO IT

hehehehe
