Internship Part 2/2

3 months of internship has ended. That is half way of my journey. So this would mean this post would have 3 months worth of details. I'm going to split it in 3 segments, based on months.

December

The main thing regarding my internship would be the 8th ASEAN Para Games, or simply known as APG. Since Singapore was the host for the 2015 SEA Games, we were automatically given the entitlement to be the host for APG.

So what is this APG?

The ASEAN Para Games- a biennial multi-sport event organised by the ASEAN Para Sports Federation (APSF) for athletes with a disability- will be hosted here for the first time in the history of the Games in conjunction with our 50th anniversary of independence.

The eighth biennial Games, expected to host 3,000 athletes and officials, will wrap up Singapore’s 50th birthday celebrations. The seven-day multi-sport event will have their competition venues mainly at the Singapore Sports Hub and Kallang areas.

There will be 15 sports in the 8th ASEAN Para Games. Beyond physical fitness, Sport Singapore believes in the power of sports to strengthen the character, uplift the spirits, and bond the community. The Games will serve as a platform for enhancing inclusiveness, encouraging our people to embrace sports, as well as promoting ASEAN solidarity.

Some History:

In May 2000, during the 10th Paralympiad Malaysian Games in Kuala Lumpur, the idea of establishing a Sports Federation for persons with disabilities at ASEAN level was endorsed in one accord by 10 Southeast Asian countries, represented by the various National Paralympic or Sports Organisations for persons with disabilities. This resulted in the birth of the ASEAN Para Sports Federation (APSF), helmed by Dato Zainal Abu Zarin as President, and its biennial Sports Championship named as the ASEAN Para Games.

The name “Para” is derived from the word “Parallel”, indicating that the Games for Para-athletes are parallel with the Games for able-bodied athletes. ASEAN Para Games is a sport event held after every Southeast Asian Games for ASEAN athletes with physical disabilities, with mobility disabilities, visual disabilities, intellectual disabilities, amputees, and those with spastic and cerebral palsy. The games are typically hosted by the same country in the same year where the SEA Games would take place.

The first edition of the Games took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2001) followed by Hanoi, Vietnam (2003), Manila, Philippines (2005), Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand (2007), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Originally scheduled for Laos) (2009), Solo, Indonesia (2011), and Naypyidaw, Myanmar (2013).

The mascot:

Nila – the name finds its roots from Sang Nila Utama, the founder of Singapura.

A bundle of positive energy, his Courage is matched only by his ability to charge up the crowd.

With his fiery red mane, he symbolises the burning Passion for all things sport.

His heart-shaped face represents Friendship, where bonds are created through competition and the love of the game.

Ever ready to play, he is always immaculately decked out in his signature tracksuit or his blue sporting attire, depending on the occasion.

Come Games time, Nila will be unleashing the force of his infectious personality to bring out the cheer in everyone!

Sports

P.S: NILA IS THE CUTEST MASCOT EVER!!!!

Whether you are a fan of the past few years National Day songs (Even I am not a huge fan, I prefer the older songs like Home, Where I Belong, We Will Get There, Reach Out For The Skies, My Island Home etc...), This APG song Unbreakable by Tabitha Nauser is simply AMAZING! It is so hyped up and catchy.

For me, I am involved really heavily with the Opening & Closing Ceremony (OC & CC). It is the main bulk of the event and learning how the whole show unravels is fascinating. About 2 weeks before the OC, we had to work crazy hours. Here I am talking about over 12 hour shifts, on the actual day to be working a 24 hour shift and so on. Yeap, it was really exhausting!

I must still add, APG is my highlight for my internship. It is a bigger highlight than ActiveSG as this is on a international level. To be a part of something so great, makes me feel nothing but blessed. Since I was in the Command & Control (C&C) team, not only did I had all access in Singapore Indoor Stadium (SIS) but I was also tasked to do quite a number of important tasks.

I do not think I am allowed to share exactly what I did but let's just say, the information that was sent to me which I had to convey, would go up to the CEO and even the ministers. So yea, it did made me feel like a VIP by dealing with V.V.I.Ps hahaha!

During rehearsals, we managed to catch a glimpse of the whole show, this was even before the preview. I thought it was cool to rely on walkie talkies! We get to really watch it unfold from the setting up of everything to this amazing show that the audience gets to view. Now, I really do appreciate an event even more and really understand the amount of hard work, dedication, time and effort put into making a show.

Well, here is more about the OC.

The opening ceremony will be separated into five individual acts specifically created to showcase the extraordinary mental and physical strengths of people of all abilities.

Stretching The Boundaries

·  Leave your comfort zone. Stretch your physical and mental boundaries. Embrace challenges. Break free. Whether you’re an athlete, actor, accountant, aged 8 or 80, there are new beginnings and exhilarating expeditions to experience. Go for it.

·  Filmmaker Bertrand Lee’s mind-blowing video poem ‘Because I Am A Champion’ opens the Ceremony with a proud, defiant bang. Aishah Samad (Shooting) will be one of the featured athletes.

·  Teenager Luo Mang’s solo dance follows on, exhibiting the same fighting spirit.

·  Greek artist Kleopatra Korai’s breathtaking hand-drawn animation introduces us to the 15 sports to be played at the APG.

·  Then comes the grand entrance of the 1500 athletes from 11 nations, the very people who know just what it means to really push themselves ceaselessly, against limits, and to begin again and again after each and every failure, and victory.

·  Let Singapore forge a new ‘en-abled’ vision. Let’s work hand-in-hand with our ASEAN friends to achieve new heights, not only in sport and the arts, but in the very way we live, in our play and in our work. Let our dreams soar for people of all abilities!

·  With the flags of the ASEAN Para Games and the ASEAN Para Sports Federation raised, the show gets into full swing -- literally and metaphorically.

·  Ushering us into the festivities are a young Opera singer and a group of dancers who are on their feet, on wheelchairs as well as off their feet, up in the air.

·  They form a magical carousal. With each of the ribbon symbolising each of the eleven ASEAN countries, we celebrate our unity, friendship and love for superb sporting competition.

Shooting For The Best

·  Control your breathing. Slow down your heart rate. Get a good focus. You’ve got a clear shot. Go on. Go for the kill.

·  ‘ASEAN Best’ honors the last seven ASEAN Para Games.

·  ‘Personal Best’ celebrates our great sporting heroes and heroines for whom their greatest competitors are themselves.

·  Sing along! Embody for a moment the championship ethos of these perfectionists.

Fire Your Imagination

·  Fire Your Imagination is the climax of the 8th ASEAN Para Games Singapore 2015 Opening Ceremony, in which the cauldron is lit and the Games officially begins. It also celebrates Singapore’s glorious achievements as a nation that turned 50 this year.

·  An energetic army of cheerleaders in their 40s to 80s teaching you how to sign and indeed sing with your hands. Wheelchair dancers forming patterns evoking Singapore’s iconic skyline. Torch bearers ranging from emerging sporting talents, veteran athletes to a Paralympian gold medalist burst into action on the video screens, then continue into the Indoor Stadium, guided by the stunning floor patterns.

·  Let us celebrate excellence, friendship and respect. Let the Games begin! A Victorious Celebration of the Extra-ordinary!

·  Then there is a sensational farewell party for us to toast to SG50 and the start of the Games.

·  Let us celebrate friendship, sportsmanship and excellence. Let us transform the Singapore Indoor Stadium, and the world, into a barrier-free, beautiful and exuberant playground.

·  Students from 15 Special Schools lead us in this dance of victory.

·  Let us sign and sing to music inspired by 11 countries. Let us party!

And now my journey in this...

So many late nights where throughout the day it was Nasiree & me collecting the Bento food for our department or hopping over to Foodfare for food & drinks. Once, we went there a little too late and most of the shops were closed. We both were simply craving for dessert, so we went over to cheers and bought Cornetto. She's more of a chocolate lover and I am the Princess of Vanilla!

We ended up eating and indulging and on the way back to SIS just singing our hearts out and behaving like 2 drunk girls. We were both really tired, hyped, happy girls, high on a sugar rush! Hahaha

God bless Carousell as I invested the best $32! I found at that point of time a category for Prom as that was the season for Prom, where I chanced upon a Baby Bliss curler. This thing here retails at $200+ and if you're lucky and get it "cheap" it'll be for at least $120. I got it for $32! It is definitely a great buy.

I didn't curl my hair to work or anything but tried it once to work like just a few strands, and it works so wonderfully. Planning to do it later on in December.

Might I add, I love Sport Singapore as they are really flexible and chilled about attire which I love so much! This day with the Baby Bliss-ed hair, I wore my mood pants along with a cut out sleeved crop top. I looked super chilled and even dressed to plop haha!

This was me in SIS and it was just a week till APG started and as you can tell, I have not been getting enough sleep at all! My dark eye circles and eye bags are horrible! I really hope to get rid of them as post APG I'll be given more time to sleep.

Although I am just an intern, on my accreditation pass, it is stated that I am a security manager. With all those stickers and bottom square boxes with letters, I am allowed entry everywhere.

While I was involved with the Opening Ceremony in Singapore Indoor Stadium, the others were more involved with the carnival. It was just outside Kallang Wave Mall and it gets really hyped sometimes as people perform. One of my favorite moments was to hear a rendition of New Thang in an acoustic manner.

This was the first time Nas & I did lots of physical labour. We helped Uncle move these 600+ chairs from outside to the tentage inside. Hallelujah for the trolley! We did it!!!!

We got tonnes of Foodfare vouchers and have to utilize them by the end of this year, so we ate. I've tried Malay, Spanish and even Korean food here haha!

I am the luckiest and most blessed intern. Since the closing ceremony was held at MBS, and since there were spare rooms... let's just say, Nas & I got a chance to have a one night staycation at Marina Bay Sands! Yup that's right, you heard it, MBS!!!!

It was the best thing ever! The bed was the softest and the pillow and comforter, it's like falling asleep on a cloud! The bed was far too big for 2 girls. It was King sized and we both ended up cuddling at both sides of the bed that when we woke up, we saw that the middle had so much space, it could have fitted 2 more people!

I wish I had more pictures but was just being in the moment although I took quite a lot of Snapchat Videos.

Infinity Pool - Make Do Swimming Costume

I wish I could go there again. The hotel stay and the infinity pool was just amazing. Never had I pictured going for a stay there because of the price, so it was truly a blessing to ave been able to have overnight.... and been in what a lot of people want to go to.

Thank you Royston, Thank you C&C, Thank you Sport Singapore, Thank you APG!

Suraj loves talking about Kudeta but after walking past, I found out it has been changed to Ce La Vi. Did not enter but hey, at least I was close enough to have heard the music hehe

I look tired and shagged as hell as I haven't been sleeping for days.

Gosh I'll miss you MBS!

 Back at Kallang Wave Mall

LOVE THE HOLIDAY SPIRITS! Love the Christmassy feels!

We had to be a part of the bomb sweep at 4am in the morning of the Opening Ceremony and look at this cutie I spotted! Yuna!

Half the time she's sleeping cuz even dogs get tired!

I was terribly upset that my body took a toll on me and I was at the medical room for the actual Opening Ceremony and was not allowed to work. Yup, deemed unfit and I just felt so disappointed and that I had let my team down. My supervisor, Royston, and Nasiree covered for me as in my roles and I could not be any more grateful.

I will make it up for the Closing Ceremony (CC).

The CC is closed doors and was held at MBS. Yup levels 4-5  (Or even 1 -5 as we took up the halls below too) were booked and it was more like a D&D for a company or like a wedding dinner since it was at the gorgeous ballrooms. It held 3,000 VIPs like the ministers and athletes and official. It is of a smaller scale as it did not involve the public.

I had my fair share of stress working with Uncle Wilkie and had to deal a lot with the seating arrangements and plans. The fact that I got to voice out to the heads made me feel important. I was treated like the VIPs as there was space at the tables and I was asked to join and dine in with them. The food was delish - Nasi Goreng Kampong, mango sago etc.

I loved the Malaysia multi racial performers who produced nothing but awesome music. All the hard work and time consuming, tireless days and even "torture" at Dhoby Ghaut's Daiso (the queue is CRAZY! Legit 20 minutes long) all seemed worth it.

Treated to long beach king on Friday, as Thursday it was an off for my department yay!!!

SEAFOOD! Royston bought both black pepper crab and chili crab! AAAHHHHHHHHH
It tingled my taste buds to the top of this world!

I really truly do feel happy and so blessed to be a part of this team and this whole event.

Post APG was when I could clear all of my remaining offs. I decided on a time to time and an all in one shot at the end of the year. God bless that I escaped FMAS. This is just a payment system and doing all the dissolution and post event stuff. I am just really looking forward to my holidays and also the fact that I will be starting ActiveSG in 2016.

The sad thing, I am no longer with my full RP Interns Squad over at Games HQ. And the con of this is, if I work at Sports Hub, I would be doing admin and have office hours. If I am posted to a gym, it would mean working both the weekends and having a weekday off and it is pretty fixed.

Thank heavens it is just for 2 months. And I won’t be entitled to any off days, extra ones.

But hey, I did have a great learning and working experience. Goodbye to the tough people I worked with and hopefully I won’t have to see your faces again. And I sure wish I see nice people faces and work with them again like Royston (my lao ban) and so on. Now I know how to deal with difficult people and situations.

I’ll miss the Games HQ and the people but t’was a fun experience.

Nasiree. Why this name? Other than my RP crew, I believe she deserves her own paragraph as she is a big part of my APG experience.

Although she was with us for 1 and a half months, she and I hit it off from the start. She was always so quiet and shy. Till I unleashed her crazy, fun side. We were always laughing and had the weirdest mad singing sessions. We come to work late together and share train and cab rides home. We were the "Saikangs" by always travelling to and fro to buy food and collecting items that there is one particular store of people who knew our faces so well, and since our department people always ordered the same thing, they knew exactly what to get us.

She was a super sweet roommate at MBS and Nas is always helpful. She is such a jovial person and there was never a dull moment. If it was dull, we both were already sleeping in meetings or we'll make it bright. She is my "Khun Thai" (Personal jokes) and she and I share problems and even guy issues (I hope you find yourself a better Phad Thai, one who truly deserves you girl).

We were a crazy bunch jumping on Exercise Balls on the day we had lunch at Long Beach King. I'm always snapchatting when I can and she's camwhoring or taking videos.

Now that I am at work, (it's 17/12 when this bit is being typed), it sure as hell feels different. It's not about not having anyone else in this department but not having her. I really do miss her loads.

Nas, I wish you find what you love doing and get a great nutritionist job. I wish you all the best in life and everything you do. For someone who is as amazing as you, I am sure you'll find a guy you deserve. You'll get your other half in no time. Don't forget what I tell you!!!! (Haha personal counselling sesh)

I really hope that we do keep in touch. Enjoy your time in Thailand and I can't wait to see you when you come back to Singapore!!!

Take care till then Prettyhead!

Sawadika

More in December.. FESTIVALS & EVENTS! But that is for another post and anyway this has been posted. If you want to read it, if you've missed it, click  'HERE".

In the end I worked in December and decided to not claim all my offs at one go for one reason, ActiveSG isn't happening. Yup, they said that there is no vacancy and so this would mean other than taking 21st and 24th as full off days, 28 - 31, I will be working. Shall carry forward the 4 days to 2016 when I really need them.

It's a little upsetting that ActiveSG won't be happening especially since Farah and me had been super stoked for this. Oh well, I can only hope the next 2 months will be pretty chilled. Hoping that we won't have to work weekends.

On the bright side, at least I am still under Royston. I hope that I'll be under him as he is truly the most amazing boss anyone could ever ask for.

And in January, Farah and I will reunite again as Gym Buddies. We both do work out, but it has been ages, ever since APG, that we had a chance to work out together.

Dayum, my December section is done. Woah that's really long. At least I'm done with one portion.

Shall spent the remaining days of work, to work a little, work on other blog posts a little, watch some movies, and just take it easy. Upset that I stopped gymming so much.

Definitely Farah & I will be the regulars we've always wanted to be starting January 4th. Till then office hours it will be me ogling over Chad Michael Murray & watching One Tree Hill & the new season of Teen Wolf. huehuehueue

January

It is 2016! It is a NEW YEAR!!!! As I had mentioned in the December segment, I am not moving to Sports Hub but will be working at Games HQ where I was working all the way. Seeing how things and hearing from my friends, fellow RP Interns who are placed at Hub are saying and experiencing, honestly I feel thankful and really blessed a few of us are still at Games HQ. By a few, I mean 4. Farah, Lynnette, Jack & me.

I initially planned to call 30 wedding companies but with the help of Farah, I ended up calling 40 instead.

I've sent my resume and even went on interviews so far.

As of today, the companies that look more promising would be:

- Style, Bridal & Beauty

- La Belle Couture
- Blue Ginger
- SID
- Wedding Meets Design

I am really excited to move to my next stage of life but at the same time I am honestly not really prepared. I am just as nervous and need a HUGE HUG to calm myself down and tell myself it'll be okay. Things are honestly going to get tough but I want to get through it. It's going to be surfing a mega tidal wave but I want to surf it. Shaky at first but when you conquer it, it'll be honestly rewarding.

Other than that, I have been working on my IIP report and honestly, I want to get it done by this month.

My aunt, my angelic Maami has been transferred to the ICU and we are all rooting for her to get well real soon. January is just the start of 2016, but this has been a pretty rocky month for me. I know I'll get through it. I am sometimes worried that I'll lose hope.

When you've lost all hope, cling on to that last bit of strength you have, hold on to your willpower and not give up and for once, no matter how tough it gets, rely on your loved ones time to time especially when you need it. You are never truly alone, so don't allow your mind to convince you that you are.

Thank heavens Maami got shifted to the general ward again! I am so happy for that!

Work wise, I am dealing A LOT with phones, phones and more phones for now. Other than this, I am still finding it a little tricky starting my IIP report but I am sure when I do start it, I'll be done with it in less than a week.

Downside, we all will be moving to Sports Hub. Nope, not Active SG but we will all be transferred as the Games HQ has to be evacuated as it's being demolished. The good thing would be that gymming is way easier as I will be able to walk to the gym which is 5 minutes away.

I am not a fan of Foodfare but what made me miss it is the company I had. That and the free food. Haha! The group was so big and jolly. Other than me, Dalan, Farah, Lynnette, Xiao Hui, Jack, Qi Rong, Fluffy, Nisa & Faz made Foodfare and lunch time much more livelier. I'll honestly miss that.

I shall enjoy whatever time I have left with this company before it's Sayonara to being an intern.

Since January is my birthday month, I had a chance to ice skate FOR FREE!!!! Weeeeee! So I'm gonna share the ice skating portion.

Xiao Hui had her last week of work on the last week of January, to celebrate, we went to Manhattan Fish Market. Moreover, there was the 2 for $16 meal (Fishy Chicky Bang Bang) that simply must be bought!

Let me conclude this January Segment with our USS Trip.

Yup, it was closed just for us on the 29th from 7pm onwards. There were a total of 3.500 volunteers that attended!

So, it was raining SUPER heavily that day but we still made it. Only upsetting thing was that I could not get Lynnette to ride the roller coasters cuz she LEGIT was too scared and Farah left super early! Your falsies are safe gurl!

At least Lynnette rode on the Mummy ride and the Madagascar carousal after complaining the first was scary and the latter made her dizzy! REALLY WOMAN?! HAHAHA

The new thing for me would be watching the Water World show at Jurassic World. It was my first time and the stunts were pretty amazing!

Not only that, I finally managed to eat food from a diner! Yup, Mel's Drive-In. The food was meh, the price was exorbitant (although we had meal vouchers so yay for that!) but the vibe was amazing!

One day, The NiggAPACHE will conquer a diner, a legit one where there is a real working jukebox where we will blast Pina Colada and sip on our milkshakes and eat the CHEESIEST FRIES & the JUICIEST, FATTEST BURGERS!!!!

Why am I putting pictures of these books? This may be the last time I will get a chance to read. My long train rides are entertaining and fruitful because of books and I am a HUGE BOOKWORM! Just got these 4 books recently and I am a hopeless romantic and a wedding lover!!!!!

With this, we are going to say farewell to January and HELLO FEBRUARY! Yup, a month has already passed y'all! I know, I'm freakin out too!!!

.

February

It's been like 2 weeks since we have moved to Sports Hub and I MUST say I LOVE Games HQ at Mountbatten way way waaayyyy more than Sports Hub but hey 1 more month and there'll be tonnes of upcoming adventures in February!

This was taken together with Miss Loh! This was our final presentation! YAY!!!!!

This was when Jack decides to take Toto and I was super sure that the no. 16 and 21 will come out and was joking about it as it's Farah's and my birth dates. Who knew eh?! Hehehe perhaps we should have given him more numbers so that he would've striked bigger!

One more week till internship ends, yikes! It's so darn fast!!!

This internship has made me an angel at times and also a devil! Huehuehue

I decided to do some farewell cards. The last card I made would be for Aby's 16th birthday but I am so glad that I went about doing this. I promise, the feeling when I sit down and just let my mind run wild with ideas and try to create what's in that head of mine is so fun. I love unleashing my 4 year old self! hehehe

I made simple cards for my supervisors, bosses, and colleagues and spent more time on my friends' cards.

For Rosyton

For Husien

For Jack - It actually hangs like a disco ball but the long ribbon / string has yet to be attached when this picture was taken.

For my dear Lynnette

Prettyhead Farah's card! I could not do one where it opens up like a make up bag, so it's more like a handbag!

That's why you collect and keep things that appear pretty cool, they just add spunk to your card! The day when Farah tore her sandals, that little pale pink piece used for the R, yup that was from her sandal. Well, on the bright side woman, you never really have to feel bad that you lost a good pair of shoes!

Now, it's closer to the real adult world with official work starting next month. It is confirmed, I am working with.... NOBODY! (for now)

Let's just say that the wedding company who gave me their word with a job, decided to reject me at the end and the worst part was that she was dragging and stalling and prolonging the rejection that right now it just sucks!

I have currently ZERO wedding companies to try for anymore as they all have already said their "Nos" in various ways. I've branched out to events companies. Some of them do weddings and some does not. Well, I've already called all of them and even send my resumes. Now, it's time to wait.

While waiting, I'll probably take up a part time job in F&B. I am really hoping out of ALL the OH SO MANY events company in Singapore, there would at least be one company, just one person who is keen on hiring me. I don't mind starting off at the lowest but I can only hope I'll be given an opportunity to climb up and work my way up to be a part of the planning team.

What sucks is, Singapore, they say we are really educated and we'll get jobs. I hold a Diploma in Events, I interned and was part of a huge ASEAN success, 8th ASEAN Para Games. Yet, I am jobless and desperately trying to get someone to hire me. Why are people so tough and asking a 20 year old to have a 6-8 years work experience? Do you hear yourself? You want me to hold an academic certificate, at the same time it would make sense if I got that much of experience if I had started working full time after my PSLE.

All I am asking for is a chance and I have already thought of the worst case scenario. I don't have a plan to counter that. But I am clinging on that ray of hope that somewhere in Singapore, an events company will give me a shot in working with them. With that at least and some planning experience, it will at least make my resume look a lot better and then I'll be praying that a wedding company overseas would be keen to take me in their wings and nurture and teach me the ropes of wedding planning.

Till then, I have done all that I could possibly do and right now, all that's left is to wait for some positive replies hopefully. By this week if I do not hear from the companies be it via phone or email, I'll be in the F&B sector starting next week.

If anyone out there knows someone in the wedding or events sector that are looking to hire, do let me know please!!!!

Now, back to the internship.
What I've learnt with my time in Sport Singapore would be how to work well with people even though they are a majority of a race and you're a minority, how to make yourself be heard and valued although you may come in as the youngest in the department and company, how to be quick to adapt to constant changes and not not let the pressure get to you, be patient with the people you work it, suck it up and deal with the toughies and at the same time appreciate the ones who are nice to you, befriend people and you'll never know what might blossom, always have proper time management and prioritize the right things, always be keen to learn and experience things, having setbacks may not always be bad, take ownership and have responsibility, do not be afraid to voice out, share your ideas, opinions, thoughts and don't succumb to being a pushover and lastly, it is to simply have fun!

Now my plans would be to, basically what I've mentioned above. I was thinking for this year to work as a part timer and then, next year a full timer and the following year to be working as a wedding planner for a renowned Asian Wedding Company that is not in Singapore and from there on Australia / Europe and finally America. After that, well by then it would have been 2020, so I can't plan my life exactly in details but I have a rough idea and am planning to work my butt off for that.

But at this very moment, it's no longer about part time or full time but just getting the company itself to hire me. All I'm asking for is for a chance, irregardless of how big or small. I hope with all my heart and soul that I would be able to get a job and the event company will get back to me with positive replies and that I can slowly but surely have at least took the first step in kickstarting my career to be a successful wedding planner. :')

To Sport Singapore:

Thank you for this wonderful experience. I am glad that I had met amazing people, bosses, colleagues and even Miss Loh, thank you.

As for Farah & Lynnette, an extra special shout out to you two. I honestly have no idea what would I have done without you too and y'all seriously made my 6 month internship a joyous one! From bitching sessions, to pool, lunch (McDonald's, KFC, Foodfare, Koufu, Manhattan Fish Market, Aston's, Pizza Hut), too many crazy epic and HILARIOUS adventures that I rather not write it down here as it is too embarrassing and too many to list down!

All those heart to heart talks, anger and tears, I swear I wouldn't take back any moment. Farah, gymming sessions with you has been nothing but AWESOME and I hope you, Lynnette and I will still keep in touch and not just let the ending of this 6 month journey be the end of our friendship. I love you girls and would LOVE to hang out with y'all time to time even with possibly future busy schedules!

xoxo
