It's only the 10th of March, yet it's been a clear roller coaster ride. It has it's major ups and devastating lows.
02-03-16.
It was a Wednesday and it was time for some celebration. Yup, Ladies Night.
Two stops were made. Rumours (Like Finally!!!) and Rupee Room (Hi Again!)
I am not so much of a clubber to be honest but hey we have to enjoy certain things at certain ages. Live our lives with zero regrets. So when I was asked, especially since I have experienced an English club once, a Punjabi club once, the last one on my list was an Indian one and after this visit, it has been fulfilled.
Would I club again? Honestly, I am not that sure but I prefer events like Holi and such. The ideal event would be Tomorrowland! That is right up there and one of the things on my Bucket List. After that has been achieved, honestly ZERO point to even enter a club.
Among the 3 times I have clubbed, this would by far be my most favorite. Several reasons as to why.
1. We were the first few to enter.
2. We were the last few to leave.
3. No money was wasted on cab fares.
4. For the guys who came and wanted to drink, the drinks were on the house cuz... hehehe secret
5. There was no crazy drama, puking etc...
6. The dancing was epic and Fami is such a fun person to dance with
]
Things that could have been better:
- If we went as a bigger group instead of 4 of us (Thank heavens the friends we made there made things more lively)
- If there weren't random guys who try to slide into your DMs while dancing (but hey it's a club and thank god I had Fami)
- If the clubs itself was more crowded. It was pretty empty for a Ladies' Night and it sucked and got a tad bit boring when no one was on the dance floor.
But honestly, when the "good timing" came and people started hitting the dance floor, dancing was honestly SO SO FUN & JOYOUS! I wouldn't have traded the feeling you get freely dancing for the world! As for Don, I was so happy for him, Mr Virgin Clubber! I was so glad he busted his moves, both on the dance floor and also with the ladies!!!

Up next we have the handsome Mr Ken.
The name is Ken. Chick - Ken!
Burger King has introduced a new type of fries, Chicken Fries! Take it like Fish Fingers but it's Chicken and it's AMAZING! I tried this one day when I went to gym with Farah in the morning and I stayed at Stadium a lil longer only to have joined Dalan, Kevin & Qi Rong for their lunch and since they went to BK, I joined them for a bit and tried this AMAZING dish!
They'll give you a set of stickers to decorate your chicken box and this was mine!
He's a real badass!
P.S: Burger now has introduced its $1 Burger! It's DELISH but remember, per customer only can purchase a maximum of 2 at one go.

I never thought I would step into Republic Poly again until it was Graduation. I was wrong. With the whole job thing being a headache, (No wedding company wants to hire me. Can't seem to get a job with an events company for the time being. Made my trip to a recruiting agency on a weekend only to have gotten just one day booked for the following weekend, which keeps me unemployed and JOBLESS for the time being) I decided to stop by RP to take a look at the Graduation Night, the whole Red Carpet, and I wanted to see Farah (I wish I knew Sangary was there so that I could've seen her and took a picture with her!!!) and get some pictures taken.
All these plus I wanted some of the good, cheap food from RP. I called the group, the only one who was free and ended up turning up was Dalan and like a true best friend, he came with me, got upset that the food stalls were closed, snapchatted crazy videos, messed around, enjoyed whatever booty he saw (Where are my hunks?!) and we ended with meeting the Queen who was super fashionably late and I ended up taking a picture with Farah and Christine at the interchange and Dalan and I hogged at the Pasar Malam before we headed to the roof.
P.S: Banana juice is surprisingly good! The best part about the drinks stall from Pasar Malams would be that they cost only a dollar!
We got ourselves some Takoyaki too but I still prefer the ones from RP!!
Was under dressed for a Grad Night event (like a Poly Prom) but overdressed for a normal TGIF Roof session!!! Still was in the mood for selfies when I got back!

This was the day Papa got discharged from the hospital. Why exactly did he get admitted? Well, I am not ready to write about it just yet. Let's just say that the most devastating news was revealed that right now, we, The Mazlans just have to all stick together. We are all hoping, praying, wishing that he gets better, he would somehow fight through this and overcome it even if it takes a miracle.
All I can say is, I've moved out of my parents' house to Sharlini's in late January 2015. I moved out of Sharlini's to my current house from early October and the situation calls back for me to move back into my parents' house.
I know things will be different. Things may get tough but whatever the case, we will all get through it. My sisters are planning to go Kardashians style with regards to wardrobe. Yeap, one whole room just for closets, clothes, make up and dressing up. Another room purely for studying or work and the last room for us to chill and sleep in. Well, that's how we have decided to split the 3 main rooms other than the Master bed room and I am guessing we are all pretty excited.
I know this time, things will be different and better. I just am so shattered that the expense of this is just something too dear.
I talked to my family regarding a better job and I guess I'll blog more about it after the interview. I am not going in with complete confidence, expectations neither do I want to jinx anything. Let me just say that this job used to be a maybe, lately a want and right now a need. For myself, my family and for all of us, I mean it. This is my shot.
I hope I make it, I know I'll make them proud so fingers kept crossed and wish me luck.

IT Fair! This time of the year again!!! So what did I get? A portable charger / power bank and a SD card for my camera. Along the way we had free ice creams, lost one another and thank heavens my sisters have an extra hard drive / hard disk now and don't have to whine about sharing! (Sheesh it's 1TB, more than enough to share but okay!)
Vinod brought along 2 Swedish friends, and we all even had a free Monster Can! Yaaaaasssss!!!
The guys continued with a Virtual Reality game but I was off for family dinner as Uncle Segra was about to go back to Aussie soon, so we decided to have a nice dinner at Bali Thai.
Now for the MADNESS!! A.k.a, the pictures :P

Working Part Time at Fullerton Hotel. Dalan and I met up for like a late lunch before we were off to work the night shift together for the first time at Fullerton Hotel's Town Restaurant and might I add, it sure as hell was HECTIC!!! Thank heavens we ate first.
The cab ride we shared on the way back with 2 other ladies was kinda nice. All of us talking some life and inspirational stuff. You know what they say, nothing is better than working with your best friend!
I promise you guys, the food here is AMAZING! No, not Fullerton Hotel but this coffee shop in Woodlands.
Being or tryna be all cool in our super one too many layered uniform!
Laughing away! Plus it's no fair his hair decided to be so on point even after work! Plus, how can he pull of orange?! Where's the justice?! I look like a sack of potatoes beside him but hey at least we were both paid the same amount!

The NiggAPACHE Movers. I needed to move all my things from Mr Lee's house (My previous owner at Admiralty) back to my family's place. Of course I needed MANpower and for that I needed MEN! I asked the group and those who were free came and helped and may the Lord bless trolleys.
5 long hours but somehow still kinda fun. These pics were taken back at my house when the guys were enjoying Apple Juice. We HAD to eat but there wasn't much. So, we all shared the famous Qiji's Nasi Lemak along with a tub of Cremera's Hazelnut ice cream.
Yup, 5 people eating outta a tub of ice cream. How "Nigga" are we really?

Holi 2016: Rang De Barsay.
The 2015 Holi at Kembangan was HELLA FUN and such a big dance party and I would classify it as more family oriented.
This year's one on the other hand was a huge blast. But the fun is totes different. Why you ask? This one was at Sentosa's Wavehouse. The music, the moves, the dance, the vibe, it was so club like. Most of the Indians of the group went and we dragged more indians like Vishnu, Siva and all and I must say I was so glad Sangary and Fami came! #GirlPower
Plus they brought their friends along and the 2 who danced with us, Nithya & Vatshala were really sweet. The main dance floor was in a pool which was knee deep and it truly was a fun experience.
What made it even better was after this, Aideel, Dalan and Fariz joined us and while they were roaming around at Vivo, the rest of us were at Tekka eating at last. We still made it back home together and it really was a splendid day!!!
Ok, kidding! A lot of mishaps happened before the Holi. We met late, Suraj did not print out his tickets, Ari lost his EZ Link card, I almost could not enter, Vishnu had both his brand new shades and his slippers stolen, we lost each other a lot, the color costed money and I didn't buy but yay still had color splattered on me!!!!
The guys felt that we reached so late that the "hot babes" have all left but hey, they were kinda wrong. Some of them had a real blast with the ladies... *STAIRS INTENTLY AT VINOD*
HAHAHA! Well, it all turned out for the best and Holi was still a ball of fun and also in the end, we all had a great time despite the downs. The fun had too many ups to it!!!!!!
Cheers to Holi 2016!!!

And we took the Snapchat filters by storm! Especially Vinod. Hehehe

I can't wait for our 3rd Anniversary!!! It'll be at the end of April! Woohoo!!!

SIA Interview. So Farah wanted to try out for SIA and she was gonna go with 2 friends. We were talking about it during gym and since it was so hard for me to get a proper job and joining SIA would be pretty cool for a big reason. Other than travelling, I wanted to tap on the opportunity to try to get hired by a wedding company whenever we have free time once we land in another country or even get hired or score an interview with a passenger (once you serve people and make small talk and they give you their business card or something especially if you get a chance to fly first class).
I LOVE THE WHOLE IDEA OF TRAVELLING but I didn't fantasize it to a point I wanted the job horribly badly. I wanted it for the travel experience, the great pay, the big opportunities for me to tap on to get closer to my bigger dream which is to be a wedding planner.
So I decided to give it a shot and when all excited for it!!
Then I had to change outta the formal top and all. I didn't make the cut. In fact, I was rejected after Round 1. I was rather upset at first then thinking about it now, I feel really blessed because I am experiencing something so much more amazing than being a flight stewardess and am actually doing something in the wedding field. YAY!!!
So honestly, no regrets!!! I am more than happy and I am so happy for Farah as she made it all the way! I mean DUH!!! She's Farah. If they don't hire her, they're completely bonkers. Only thing would be that Farah can't join them now because of her braces but once they're off, she has to go through the last round again in June.
I am rooting for her and will actually squeal if she makes it as she deserves it and she's so SIA material. She wants it so bad and I can only hope she gets what she wants. You go girl!!
About my wedding job, well, lemme leave that for the April's post.
Hahaha so busy till I'm blogging and publishing only one post per month.
I am publishing this for Republic Poly though. Yup after going to the library to get some great books, I decided to make a pit stop and ended up sitting at my usual chill spot and started blogging. Only thing is, RP has changed quite a bit and even my spot has been completely stripped off tables and chairs. Yup, I'm blogging while sprawled across the floor. It's oddly comfy.
With this new job, I need to get my fitness schedule in check and have been spending the past 3 nights planning on a good workout schedule and over the weekend and next week maybe some modifications and improvements on my diet as I can't be splurging on food just because I'm working and have to come up with meals to pack.
Always trying to be savvy. Well. that's just me. Now it's time to bid farewell till the next post.
And...
Farewell RP, till I enter for Graduation and leave here for good. Although I may still drop by when I can especially for the food. Hehehe
Ciao!
XOXO
Farhana Mazlan
