Aby's Sweet 16th
On 17 January Aby turns 16. Yup, finally! Every girl's fantasy. Her very own Sweet Sixteen.
I wanted to get her a bike for her birthday but that girl is one hyper anticipative girl that Sharlini & her already got themselves a bike in December.
Ouh well, that doesn't mean you don't get a girl anything right? A few months back I had a "photo shoot" session with her wear she tried on 15 various outfits in different themes like Halloween, Prom Queen, Traditional, Sporty and so on. Why 15? Because the 16th Polaroid is for her to take on her actual birthday. Irregardless of what outfit she's wearing. And my god you looked gorgeous in those pictures!
Who knew that the name Aby was actually the shortened version for Abylashini?! The guys were stunned when I told them this!! So what could I do with that name? Abylashini's 16th (Excluding the spacing and including the apostrophe) is 16 letters / symbols. I had to get 16 envelopes and in each envelope, a Polaroid and also a letter or a wish to her by The NiggAPACHE and her fam (those who are able to write in them).
Everybody who knows Aby well enough, knows that she is a HUGE fan of Zoella. It's actually a make up bag but gurl, if you like being Au Natural, you can always use it to store other stuff. But hey, the envelopes will be placed here when given cuz it makes it have that extra oomph!
Well, I hope you have a great birthday party and had enjoyed your big day. You only turn 16 once. Well, you only turn one age only once but sixteen is a very special number especially for us girls.

At the end of 2015, right after Vinod's birthday, we decided to change things up regarding birthday celebrations in 2016.
In 2014, at our chalet, we all draw lots and picked a scroll. For example, my scroll said Sharlini, so I was supposed to be her planner in 2015. Similarly, Sharlini picked Suraj's name, so she was the planner for his birthday. We were not allowed to change the names or back out of being the planner. We all managed to plan one.
Here's a quick recap:
Mine: Celebration at the roof with the fudgiest cake and PIZZA! Plus, you amazing people gave me my charm bracelet and charms. I've added on a few more charms and the beautiful bracelet is complete and I love it so much! Thank you guys once again.
Suraj: NiggAPACHE takes over USS!!!
Aideel: Nigga got a Brand New Phone for his 18th! One that wouldn't malfunction so much so that he can whatsapp us and be more active!
Sara: His bike underwent Pimpimonification and it was all swagged out!
CZY: The NiggAPACHE finally had a try at the Escape Room
Fariz: Tirelessly working on his Punisher cake and and he got himself a Punisher beanie with a lil fluffball on top!
Sharlini: We took the celebration to her house where there were mini cupcakes and games like cider pong / whatever the disgusting mixture is pong
Ari: We took the celebration to a playground and one of the highlights was definitely bean boozled. He now has a super uber soft Pull & Bear hoodie and a picture of Don himself with his own signature. Giving Ari his birthday card was cute as for Vinod's portion, it was screenshot and printed out so it felt for personal
Dalan: The Falcon spaceship made outta Hershey Pies and a celebration at the chalet! This lucky guy is the only member who has not one but 2 NiggAPACHE shirts.
Vinod: We were unable to take him out for karaoke, so we brought karaoke to him. 2 stacks of Pizzas, the final shirt to be presented and of course we made the rule. 2 main rules actually.
Rule #1:
No more birthday planners, lavish celebrations, expensive gifts, group gifts, cakes even. It is gonna be toned down and really simple! We wish the birthday lad / lady a happy birthday and give them any personal gifts we have for them. That's it. Nah I'm kidding. Every birthday, let's try to have an outing. If the birthday person wants to eat at Mac for example, then that would be the "celebration". All of us coming together to just spend some time. If they feel like heading to the roof & purely lepak? Granted! So it's gonna be super slacked. All of us are turning 20 anyway with the exception of Aideel who'll be 19.
So we'll be taking it easy.
Rule #2:
With all the extra money that we'd be able to save, we will be pumping in it for something else. Nope, not chalet. The annual chalet will not be happening in 2016. But let's just say, if we all have the funds, something bigger, better and definitely a first for the NiggAPACHE will be happening late this year (High chance!!!) or in 2017 (where we will be 21!)

Holy Shitballs! Time is passing by so quickly and we really are getting older! WOW!
Well, let me start with Suraj's 20th and Aideel's 19th & what we, The NiggAPACHE did.
As I said, no birthday celebrations were to happen this year. BUT... Since Dalan's gift to Suraj & Aideel was an outing itself, it simply had to be done!!!
Dalan managed to get the 9 of us (KUDOS!) to Bugis. Why you ask?! SHISHA
Long story short, it didn't happen (we know why and honestly, no regrets!), but it doesn't mean it won't ever happen. We will make it BIGGER, BETTER and definitely cheaper when The NiggAPACHE travels overseas! Hell Yeah!

So, no cakes! But let's just say we can do something this year! Ever since the 3rd TGIF of January (15th), the night where the 9 of us witnessed the shooting star at the roof, it just gave me an idea where I feel that, we don't need legit cakes, even the tiniest ones will do. Let's do it so every single person in this group can make a wish!!! And I hope with all my heart that it comes true for every single one of us.
So Suraj got a brownie and Aideel got 2 donuts (only 1 candle for you as you aren't 20!!!!).
P.S: Aideel blew away his candle with his nose after he made a wish. HAHAHA
It is Arab Street / Haji Lane after all. The walls are nice, the graffiti amazing. It is the PERFECT OOTD Wall!

Might I add, the Teh Tarik & Blueberry drink was SPECTACULAR!
As I have mentioned in earlier posts, I have gotten the 2016 birthday gifts in 2015 itself, and for some that needs to be "FRESH", I have noted them down. For Suraj, since he was joining me and losing the "teen" behind his age, why not let him be a kid all over again?!
Not only the balloons but also bubbles! Yeap! The one that has a gun that shoot 'em out too!!!
For Aideel, the first was an Afro as he's always talking about growing one, so why not help him speed the process up! Plus, a drinking helmet. It's the one where you can put cans and the straw is long enough allowing you to drink / suck on it on one go! Yeap, you no longer need your Milo Sippy Cup! haha

Lastly, Suraj gave me this as a belated birthday gift and I cannot be more thankful!
It's what I have been searching for, for months and in Singapore it's SUPER TOUGH to find Tim Tam, the white chocolate one! Don't worry, I've mustered enough strength to not open it yet.
Saving it so we can all share this amazing goodness together!
This happened on the 31st of January and there is no other better way to conclude this month.
~ I turned 20.
~ 1 more month of internship
~ Maami is getting better
~ A lot of festivities to look forward to in February
~ Anticipating working in a wedding company
~ Looking forward to a lil more family time
~ Here's to more crazy epic memories to be made #NiggAPACHEStyle
