Wedding Dreams & Thoughts
As y'all know, I am an aspiring Wedding Planner and I simply love the whole idea of a wedding.
I know I'm rather young but age is nothing but a number. I have been checking out engagement and wedding rings along with dresses during my spare time.
I look at the designs, the details, the price, the materials and so on. My friend, Farah, and I during work make jokes about what if your future boyfriend proposes to you and you wanna say yes to him but no to the ring? What if we know the guy wants to propose, so we say yes to him, then go ring shopping together?! HAHAHA
Well, I am kidding, I am sure the guy or rather man I end up with would know my tastes and preferences.

Dresses
Dresses is what gives the day the extra oomph! It makes the bride feel like a princess and the guests gushes over this more than 90% of the time. Some women prefer jeweled embellishments, long trains, sequins and sparkles. Some other prefer simplicity like a silk or satin gown with a little bit of lace. Whatever your preference, on your wedding day, it is all about you, the bride, and the groom!

My favorite by Berta.
Love it more with the extension piece. It's like I can picture walking down the aisle, on the beach in this and then for after the ceremony and to welcome the party part, it is just the silk piece. It would be even better if the bottom like below the knee can be removed.
Long Long Time Ago
The story spans from 1965 to early 1970s. During the time, heavily pregnant Zhao Di was chased out by her husband's family. She gave birth to twins, and one of them had two moles on her face, which was said to be bad luck. She gave up that daughter due to the pressure of wanting to build a better life for the rest of her family. With Zhao Di's indomitable spirit, and with the help of her family, they went through adversities, witnessed the changes through the years, and accompanied every step of the nation's growth in its early years.
I went to visit my Uncle and the first thing I saw when I reached his house, was that my Mum was treated like a Queen - of course she deserved it! Every Mum deserves to get a massage to unwind, relax and feel appreciated!
I became a princess for like 5 minutes!
We played Carrom, the cousins and uncles and my skills have deprove by A LOT! Time to play a lil more to get used to it. It's the way I hit. I've lost touch!
Basically, Long Long Time Ago was a movie filmed by Singapore's very own Jack Neo. Since it was a movie about the Kampung days, the adults were keen to watch and I must say, no regrets to go with them. It was a really mellow movie.
The story line and trailer and review links are given above. I must say that the older generation enjoyed a tad bit more as they could truly reminisce the moments. My Mum and all lived through all of those. For example, making a passport, an IC as Singapore and Malaysia split, the flood and all. It was fascinating to see how much we have improved and come forth.
It is the year of the Monkey and Fazilah was born in 1992 (it's her zodiac!) so when she bought the popcorn, it was the Lunar New Year set and the monkey plushie that came with it (the one I'm carrying in the plastic bag), came with spectacles and it screams ADORABLE!!
Welcome to The NiggAPACHE Whatsapp!
HAHAHA! I am already cracking up looking at the pictures of the next portion!
Dalan is the most randomest. In fact, all of us are. We will send pictures, links, 9GAG stuff, articles, the most random pervertic or funny or sometimes informative (rarely) items to the group!
I am sharing these pictures with y'all as not only do they make you laugh out loud but you question what if animals are secretly like that?! Especially the cute ones?!
Haha still reminds me of Lynnette though! HUEHUEHUE
Xin Nian Kuai Le, Gong Xi Fa Cai
The NiggAPACHE celebrated this CNY by having steamboat at CZY's.
CZY's getting enlisted on 11 Feb. yup! He will be going to Tekong. The next NS man, first army guy, in the group. It was like a farewell dinner in a way! We sure as hell will miss you!
I can't wait to see him bald and all tanned!!!

Cake
I know we agreed on no cakes and celebrations this year. Let me explain! All I wanted to do was to bake. During lunch time at work, I have been bugging Dalan about baking some Chocolate Fudge Brownies and we realized it was too expensive. So we decided to bake something cheaper which practically meant "no bake" and we didn't have access to an oven (so leave that to next time).
I realized Sara's birthday was coming too, so why not bake whatever it is that we re doing and then cut a small piece and put candles on it and let him make his wish for 2016. Turns out, the cake mold Dalan brought was a heart shaped one. I had no heart to cut the heart! Haha
So we decided that since Valentine's Day was around the corner, it was fine and we could use it.
The first layer was super easy and SUPER SWEET! Dream (White Chocolate) the big bar broken into smaller pieces and melted along with half a can of condensed milk.
The next layer was the one which was a PAIN IN THE BUTT preparing. It was crushed Oreo mixed with melted marshmallows. It hardened so quickly and I mean legit become rock hard!
We had to freeze it anyway. And it was so tough to cut it, god knows how Vinod managed to pull it off. On the bright side, it tasted so sweet! On the down side, you could almost dislocate your jaw trying to chew it.
Lesson learnt: NEVER EVER DO THE WHOLE OREO AND MELTED MARSHMALLOW COMBO.
It could also be that the Oreos we used were too much as the marshmallow mixture was meant to be more on the white side, yeap, the whole grey cookies and cream color. Ours was more to the black side.
Well, now we know. And it was still fun baking and failing a bit. At least Sara got to make his special wish! ;)
Gifts
What I gave Sara this year was simply 2 things.
The first being his very own Hollywood Star with his name on it. The symbol was the one for
movies / acting.
Since he was a HUGE FAN of WWE, I got him a gold original WWE chain for him to be a champ! Well, to us you already are!
Tim Tam - White Chocolate
When Suraj got me this packet of white chocolate Tim Tam for my birthday, I had no heart to eat it all by myself. I knew it was a really hard temptation to fight but I simply had to resist the urge! I somehow managed to and packed them for the CNY celebration. All of us had a piece and I was savoring every single bite of it!
GOSH! I LOVE YOU SURAJ AND THANK YOU FOR THE TIM TAMS!
Lo Hei / Yusheng
It is a Prosperity Toss. It usually consists of strips of raw fish, mixed with shredded vegetables and a variety of sauces and condiments, among other ingredients. Eating Yu Sheng during Chinese New Year is a cultural activity for Chinese living in Singapore and Malaysia, but not so much in other Chinese-populated countries such as Hong Kong, where the practice is almost unheard of.
. It is believed that the height of the toss reflects the height of the diners' growth in fortunes, thus we all tossed it high enthusiastically while saying / shouting "Huat Ah!"
Mandatory Group Shot! MONOPOD FTW!
Cards Against Humanity
We played a few rounds of this and Suraj was bagging most of the wins! As for Aideel, poor guy was stuck with "crappy" cards and what was worse was having a guy rubbing it in! HAHAHA
Literally laughing in someone's face!
Deadpool
This amazing movie was released on 10 February! CZY really wanted to watch it so bad especially since he was enlisting the very next day. All of us went and who knew, what we watched was actually the very first show (excluding Gold Class). But OMG!!!!
This movie was seriously AMAZEBALLS!
Remember how I said Fazilah got the Lunar New Year set, well, Dalan and Vinod purchased the Kung Fu Panda Popcorn set that came with Po as a drink holder and it was adorable!!!
Vishnu came with us and also one of Sara's ICS friend, Puva. He was super chilled and fun and it is always heartwarming to meet new people!
If you are 18 (Yup it is rated M18 for the gore and also sexual scenes <mainly boobs>), GO WATCH IT! IT'S AMAZIN!!!
According to Ari, a good 5/7. Hahaha
Yup! The movie is so good that even The Punisher went to watch Deadpool!
Woman Crush Wednesday
This is a random segment but I simply must give a huge shoutout to this gorgeous woman!
Sophia Mitchell, I found her on some retweet and I must say she's #FLAWLESS !!
Her hair is so luscious, her skin looks supple, her lips are pouty, her body is lean and toned. Her make up skills are so on point that even the Queen of Make Up, Farah, herself had to take pointers, Her eyebrows drawn are so on point! Her lips are luscious looking and her make up, from contouring, to her eye make up and falsies are impeccable!!!
GORGEOUS!!! No harm in having her as my WCW!
Girl's Day Out
On Saturday, 13 February 2016, Jurong was taken over by 4 woman.
Mama: Khairunnisa
Eldest Daughter / Sister: Fazilah
Middle Daughter / Sister: Me
Youngest Daughter / Sister: Raihan
We went to JCube first and indulged in some Thai Food. I honestly LOVE Thai Express but somehow the food from this outlet was pretty.... meh! I would go to Thai Express again most definitely but never again to the one here.
Up next, it was Jem. My sisters simply HAD to enter Sephora! Long story short, Sephora, H&M and Lovisa was conquered. It started with just Sephora... and then you know *huehuehue*
A shopping haul. A shopping spree. A shopping paradise. A shopping warzone.
Reference to Zayn's Pillow Talk (P.S, LOVE THE SONG!).
#GrungePictures #FailedAttempt
I bought a total of 7 items.
Sephora; Lip Marker & a Mascara
I simply CANNOT WAIT to use them!
H&M: An off shoulder black elastic, mild ruffled top!
Who knew Farah already had the EXACT SAME top?!
Lovisa: A headpiece, a tiara and some ear cuffs
Cuz I'm a PRINCESS!!!
Raihan was craving for some waffles & ice cream. We made a pit stop at Upper Thompson. We went to this cafe called Oblong and I must say, it was sooooo good!!!
Fazilah ordered a Tiramisu flavored waffle, with a scoop of Vanilla Brownie ice cream and Caramel topping.
I ordered a Buttermilk flavored waffle, with a scoop of Horlicks ice cream and Butterscotch topping.
Raihan ordered a Red Velvet waffle, with a scoop of Milo Dinosaur ice cream and condensed milk topping.
We had such a huge ball. Too many things to catch up on, heart to heart talks and it was just really nice having a great sisterly bonding session. It has been quite some time and late night talks can be tiring but really feel good.
Late Night Selfie Spree
Valentine's Day
Today is the day of mushiness. Love is in the air! You will see ladies carrying the biggest bears, the prettiest bouquets of roses, the biggest bags that read Pandora, a huge bag from Candy Empire carrying all sorts of delicious tasting chocolates, the most romantic places being fully booked on this day as couples and in particularly males going around splurging on their other half.
I am not anti-valentine. I am a huge sucker for romance to be honest. But I've said it before in previous years blog posts, I personally don't think that it should be just the guys doing the job and splurging and showing their love. Why not ladies, step it up to? Don't always take, give sometimes. Or, why not the both of you split the cost and do something?
I just HATE reading posts online where girls put their man down and condemn him for getting just "this" or how it wasn't what she wanted or it's never good enough. Learn to appreciate and understand that your man is doing his best.
On this note, Happy Valentine's Day!
As for me, how did I spend my Valentine's Day? Just how I would've wanted to,
with The NiggAPACHE. I kinda like it like that, enjoying and indulging in chocolates and all but not having the pressure of splurging on one person or trying to beat the couple next to you.
Dear Future Boyfriend, kindly understand when I say I would rather not "celebrate" Valentine's Day. There are so many other days and ways we can convey our love. Shouldn't every day be Valentine's Day? Or better still, a day when you're down, someone does something to cheer you up? Share an ice cream, grab a drink together, watch a movie, late night phone talks, random surprises on any occasion is so much better than just Valentine's Day. But, Hey! Don't hate me!! It's just merely my opinion.
Valentine's Day started with THE BEST GIFT EVER!!! I got myself a phone line! Hell yeah!!!! Ate one of the best food to ever been known to mankind! Nope, not Briyani (haha!). I had the Spicy Caribbean Chicken set from Long John Silver.
I got quite a number of planning done and felt honestly better. What planning? It is the one as the last segment of this blog post.
It was time to "celebrate" Valentine's Day! We sure as hell celebrated though.
Roof was fun, funny, messed up, reckless, entertaining, lovely & might I add, PERFECT!
By the way, A BIG CONGRATZ to Sara's Bro for getting engaged!!! Woohoo and Awwwww on Valentine's Day. :')
Hammered but HECK YEAH!
Next day, the ones who went to the roof except Sara decided to not go to work / school. Various reasons and we all ended up having Mac Breakfast, ATTEMPTING to watch Gravity Falls & had Canadian Pizza for lunch!
We agreed!!!! Gravity Falls (Take Back The Falls), the LAST EPISODE MUST be watched TOGETHER although it was out the next day (DAMMIT!), the 4 of us will watch it together!
Next day, Tuesday, marked one week for me for being a naughty, lazy & sick girl who didn't gym at all. But, it was time to up our game anyways! Farah & I decided to do legs and really up our game!!!
Daaaaaannnggggg! It's tough to do squats with 30kg! (20kg - rod, 5kg weights on each side). But, it was worth it. I have still a WHOLE LOT to work on.
Trust me, don't underestimate Farah! That girl may be a little on the petite side but she's been working hard and her efforts have been showing! Her Ass is like DAYUM! She puts people like Jen Selter as her inspiration.
I mean look at JEN!!!
Gravity Falls
Weirdmageddon. On Monday the Gravity Falls crew decided to watch this but to no avail, so we watched in on Friday. YUP! A rainy day, cool breathe, sweater weather, drinking hot chocolate, hurdled on Fariz's couch, eating burgers, breads and muffins and watching the season finale of this AMAZING show.
Massage
A long awaited body massage is what was needed. Where else to get a better deal than Groupon. So, I simply HAD to go for it. To sum it up, it was just SOOO DARN GOOD! It still is aching a tad bit but I feel so relieved that when I go to the gym on Monday, I'd be able to KICK ASS!!! Honestly, for people 18 and above who are in dire need for a body massage, and can't afford the usual price ones, go to Groupon!
Thank heavens this outlet was not that hard to locate. I haven't gone for many body massages from Groupon. Perhaps 3 including this, but let me just say, GO. FOR.IT!!!!
Pepper Lunch
I've always been wanting to try out the food here but never did find the right time, company or money. But, after ages!!!! Atlas! I did it.
The only thing that was not captured in these pictures is the Mashed Potato side & Ice Lemon Tea drink (which was both LOVELY!!!)
I am the biggest lover of 2 things. Anything sweet and anything peppery. I adored the pepper although the first picture was a tad bit dry and I had no idea that curry, cheese and pepper could form a combination so good it's simply mouthwatering. My fav would be the second picture although both was nice.
For those of you who have never given this place a shot, GO!!!
For those, who already went, GO AGAIN! I know I sure will in time to come.
There are so many food places I've yet to explored.
What is making me excited now...
1) Jogging home to some DELISH Spaghetti
2) Finally completing this blog post and excited for the next 2 that is still in works
3) Anticipating a reply on the date for my interview with SID (fingers crossed for confirmation and great news in pay, days and hours etc...)
4) One more week of internship
5) Maami is so much better and she will be discharged this Saturday! YAY!!!!
6) CZY is booking out this Friday and I can't wait to see that asshole! I've missed him so much and can't wait to hear all about the Tekong Adventures.
7) Graduation is happening soon, there'll be weddings to attend, and I, hopefully, will be working with a wedding company real real soon. In fact in March! *Fingers Kept Crossed*
8) Hoping 2 overseas trip successfully take place this year, both India & Bali.
9) Happily gymming and utilizing the facilities at OCBC Arena while I still can
10) Life is really short and we are all growing up so fast! There is not a lot of time for sulking and crying. Sulk, cry, then get up, wipe those tears, move on, smile, be happy and appreciate all the things you have in life, be it big or small!!!
Plan the future
I have told myself that this year I want to take a chill pill and live in the moment. After internship is what that scares me is all the finances piling up. Phone bills, rental, adult concession, saving up for my wedding, getting a bike and car license, taking a wedding planner cert, travelling and so on.
I was recently really freaked out. I almost went through a breakdown worrying about this. When you are losing it, who do you call? Your best friend of course!
Dalan and I met and we sat down and planned. I do not have the exact things and details, I mean C'mon! It's life! You're not supposed to have everything figured out but this planning is to give me a rough idea on how things can go, especially my finances and how I am going to work my way up to be in this wedding industry and hopefully, with a miracle, a wedding planner of my own company.
This meet up was so rejuvenating and enlightening for me. I must say it helped me open my eyes and have things a little figured out and to have a back up plan and so on gave me a new perspective. I have stopped panicking so much and I can't thank you enough Dalan,
As for you Mister, we will work out how you want and where you want your life to head to. Your future can be planned a little and you'll see things in a new light too. I am glad you even thought things through and I sure hope you do work your way there! I'll always have your back! Go get that dream of yours and make it come true! :')
The only thing I want, would be for my family, friends, loved ones to all have an amazing present and an even better and brighter future doing what they love.
We should chase after our dreams. Trust me, no matter how "stupid" or ridiculous it may seem, it's a dream. It's our dream. We should protect it, nurture it and make it come true. It is all in our minds. We may start with nothing but isn't that where some of the greats started too.
We'll find our way and we just have to have an idea of how we are intending to get it. Don't be let down by setbacks and of course, seize opportunities! Work hard, play hard, stay humble, be kind, discipline yourself, strive for what you want.
Lastly, never lose that inner sparkle and shine. I am talking about your willpower, You are a lot stronger than you give yourself credit. So press on!
With that,
Goodbye February, Hello March.
Already 2 months have passed! Time for me to welcome the real working life as I bid farewell to my internship. Can't wait for graduation though!!!
Till next time,
xoxo

The perfect picture for a Valentine's Day card! HAHAHA
LOVE LOVE LOVE this top & jeans from H&M!
To conclude this unforgettable night, for me at least since it was my first Valentine's Day spent on the roof, here are 2 videos. Sara is now Sara Phantom & Fariz is a Raptor!
Hammered but HECK YEAH!

But I am so so so far off! My first step is to even reach Farah's butt level! Then slowly work my way.
Here's the thing that Farah & I agreed on. You have a REALLY AMAZING BUTT when it's all real and natural but people think you did a job, like implants! Haha
Well, I most definitely must up my game, commitment and discipline. Even once my internship ends, which is like in a week's time!
Here's a video of Farah doing her Sumo Squats and I am totally in awe.
Always Remeber,

This show is created by the GREAT ALEX HIRSCH and we all love him to bits. Even Vinod joined us later but had to take off earlier before the spamming of the photos. The bunch of us was having a ball decoding stuff and it was just so beautiful and really sad.
WHY DOES IT HAVE TO END?!
Not only am I secretly hoping with all my heart but honestly some random weird senses in me is telling me that this ain't the end and that there will be so much more coming. It's just that we have to wait patiently.
Bill Cipher - Fariz
Waddles - Aideel
Soos - Dalan
Mabel Pines - Me
All of us ADORE this show and I promise you that we will be anticipating the next season along with the rest of the fandom so please Mr Hirsch, don't end this.. :'(
TAKE BACK THE FALLS - was the name of the episode but for us it's more like
BRING BACK THE FALLS!!!!
Before the show:
During the show:
After the show:
I can assure you that I wasn't the only one crying!!!
