So, Hari Raya Haji eh. The eve of it was where I took my first ever MC ever since internship started. There was a HUGE reason.
My gums were all swollen and I barely could open my mouth to talk, let alone eat! It was that bad. I went to the doctor and I knew the problem... WISDOM TEETH. Our wisdom teeth is supposed to grow aged 18-25. At 18 I had 3 grown wisdom teeth. Yup 3/4 of them. My right side lower one was the culprit for all the pain.
Usually for us girls, we will end up having to undergo a surgery where the dentist cuts open our gums and then extract the tooth. After which he'll sew it back up again. It will require multiple injections into the gum to numb the pain during the surgery.
My top left is the one that hasn't grown out yet. Since I've decided to get the bottom right one removed, I decided to get both my right side out. By right, the dentist was supposed to break the tooth of the surgery into like 3 to 4 pieces and then remove them one by one.
I could tell he was SUPER experienced and good at what he does as he extracted my top right one. Not only that, for the bottom right one that needed surgery, he cut the gum and extracted it, Yup! The WHOLE thing. And it was not even a tad bit painful during the process so his anesthetic worked wonders.
I was suffering for the next few days after the numbness wore off and if you look at the picture I took at the bottom on the morning of Hari Raya Haji, yup, the very next day, it only swelled a bit. Some of my relatives could not even tell. I ended up eating normal food the very same day I had my surgery hahaha
Fortunately for me the experience was not as bad as I feared that even the injection was a berable pain. Thank heavens. I honestly just wanna wait a bit more and am hoping my top left wisdom tooth grows out. Once it does, before it starts to hurt, I'll get both my left side removed. I can't wait and don't want to get more pain! Also I already know my jaw will not have enough space to grow the extra teeth.
Hahaha what a start to Hari Raya Haji eh?!
My younger sister is growing up so fast!!!!! One moment she was the BIGGEST tomboy girl, next thing she's using skirts and dresses and now make up! Hell, she invited 2 of her friends to do her make up and they dressed her up and got her ready.. for like 5 hours! What is becoming of my lil sweet innocent sister?! She's turning into a vain pot! Haha, but you gotta admit, she's growing up and blossoming to becoming more and more beautiful. She's turning 17 this year.. although she and I are only 2 years apart, it's kinda amazing to watch a younger sibling grow and mature and seriously she's stunning! Her hair and her red lipstick, always on point!
I feel kinda sad that the videos aren't being able to be played at least the one with mama giving papa a huge smooch on his cheek for his birthday in one of my previous blog posts can be played.
Hari Raya Haji was fun. It was nice to spend time with my fam and yeap, a lil sleepover with my sisters. But the fun did not stop! We went bowling and who knew a girl like me who has not much skills for bowling, can actually bowl?! hehehe
The best part? I was the 2nd highest with my first time hitting a hundred as a score. My first 3 digits for bowling!
There were 8 of us and we had to mess around and the names we played with if you see the screens for both lanes spells (FUCK THIS).
Some people noticed it, some people didn't. It was still hella fun!
Well, that is all. I just realized I only have one draft blog which is my internship. Well, although some things are filled up, it will only be posted and published in Feb, which will be my last month of internship. That'll sure as hell be lengthy as it's 6 months worth of internship experience being penned down in one blog post.
It's 27th October... Ari's Birthday is tomorrow and I can't wait to present him his gift! A Blackstreet Vinyl with his photos all around hahaha!
Gosh, me and my weird gifts. I swear, I laugh (either with joy or sheer mockery) every time I think of something to present to someone.
4 days till Halloween... then a month till the 8th ASEAN Para Games.. After that, 2.5 more months of internship! Woah, time really does fly! But right now, judging how stressful things are at work, I would want nothing more than for November to pass by as quickly as possible.
Till next time,
xoxo
