CLOTHES
As you all know, I am WAY under budget now as I had spent too much on my Bugis Shopping Spree.
Well, I'll be going to Orchard on Monday with Zizi to shop. (Don't be too surprised, I'll only be able to spend $50 <laptop casing and flower headcrowns> Like I had mentioned before, no formal tops for me.
The most dreadful part..I need to pay $50 for my Mum's gift, $15 for my aunt's gift, $100 for Fazilah's gift..and I am not sure how much though for my Dad. I thought for Papa, I can present him with a hand-made item..I will be LITERALLY left with no money until school starts..where I have to start saving up to shop and also for people's birthday...
It's time I cleaned my mirror..soo many fingerprints
#OOTD Dress from Mangis, Belt from Bugis Street, Tights from Cotton On (I need to buy more soon, maybe colored and printed ones)
I look really tired as I had only 5 hours of sleep..was staying up planning
Anyway, why I titled 'clothes'..it is because to share with y'all my outfits.
Let's go...
When I do a room tour, then I'll show my entire room, in much more detail. For now, what's in my wardrobe (except the drawers)
My jackets, sweaters, cardigans..
On the right side, those are the dresses in which Sakthiish has seen me in (jackets and his hoodie are not counted)
The lower section (sorry as it's messy) would be for my traditinal costumes and bags! (My pink bag and white bag are arriving next week YAY!)
From the top:
Sports Equipment, Make-up products, masks, contact lenses etc.., Lingerie,
Skirts, Hot Shorts, Tights, Pants, Jeans, Home Shirts and Home Shorts,
Perfume, Nail Polish, body products like lotions etc..
Some of my shoes that I wear on a not-so-common basis and my heels, boots and wedges
The third part (the extreme left) of my wardrobe. (TRUST ME! It's too big to call it a cupboard).
The top would be my bedsheets (still more to buy), my blankey (I have 2 really comfy ones) and gifts and boxes meant to be given away.
This is the SADDEST part! On the right side, are MOST of the outfits The NiggAPACHE has seen me in..on the left side (which includes 2 formal wear tops and a blazer),are the remaining ones. (Precisely why I need to shop!)
The rule I have with 'em would be that they do not ee me in the same outfit more than once..but my clothes are running out and I am sure that we all will be seeing each other WAY MORE OFTEN..So I'll save the pretty outfits for special occasions..and I'll use home outfits and some dresses when I meet them. I think next year or so..they'll see me in repeated outfits more often.
Well, I won't repeat outfits to RP. I have sufficient amount to last me through Semester 2..except formal wear :'(
So..yea..my weirdo policy with the group.
QUOTES
Why I decided to include this segment is because we all need some motivation at some point in our lives. Motivation can be given from within, from a family member, a friend or simply a loved one. Also, motivation doesn't need to be a really long wordy paragraph. A simple sentence is all that it takes to make us feel stronger, better. Precisely, a quote.
I love reading inspirational quotes from amazing people. I have a quote..more like a motto. Of course it'll not be as epic as some famous person's but it does help me get through tough times, especially when I am in a dilemma as I need to make a difficult decision.
Don't follow your mind, don't follow your heart. Follow your bridge.
You can choose to replace the bolded word to other words like "believe" or "trust". For me, the reason why I say this and believe in this is for the very fact that I want to choose and do something that both my heart and my mind agrees..THE BRIDGE. The bridge is a place where both agrees and you can never go wrong and will never regret.
A book that I would recommend y'all to read would be Miranda Kerr's "Treasure Yourself"
I do not think it is available in Singapore. I received mine as a gift from my Uncle who lives in Perth. You can purchase it on E bay though.
This book, as the title says, teach us to be thankful and appreciative of the little things that we have in life and also to treasure ourselves.
CARTOONS
I simply have to talk about this as cartoons has really really changed overtime. One of my all-time fav cartoons when I was growing up was Winx Club! Today, as I was browsing to the channels, I got excited when I saw Nickelodeon showing "Winx Club". I watched, and to my dismay the characters are the same people but have physically changed drastically. (Bloom and Flora were my fav)
.
Winx Club is only one of the examples..look at all these that I gre up watching or reading. Even they've changed..some for the better..some..I don't even know what to say.
Strawberry Shortcake and her friends..
The international friends..
Now...
W.I.T.C.H (Will & Cornelia were my fav)
I loved reasing their books and magazines/comics
Bratz..(I actually own a souvenir that says "Dancin Divas". It's really pretty and I purchased it from Surfer's Paradise when I went to Gold Coast 7 years ago. I still have it, but will show during the room tour >v< )
The Bratz
Lil Bratz
Bratz Babyz
They were smart to have created such and it only got better! Moreover, they made a movie which was a nice teenage girly movie.
I still own the 2 limited edition magazine (the slumber party) but lost the 4 beautiful scented bookmarks.
My Mum liked Yasmin, Zizi like Sasha, Raihan liked Jade and I liked Chloe.
Angelina Ballerina...from this..
...to this
It just looks so animated!
Who can forget Meg Cabot's The Princess Diaries Book Series?!
I mean just look at the last one?! Haish..when people try to "glamourfy" it and it looks horribly wrong. I loved the movie though..That was the movie that got me to really love Anna hathaway.
I remember this scene..
Sabrina The Teenage Witch. When they changed the life show to the animated, I simply adored it and even watched the movie!
I love Melissa Hart, but I loved the cartoon version more. (The show I prefer live over cartoon would be like Mr Bean or Scooby Doo)
Salem, the coolest cat EVER!
A book series I loved reading when I was like 7 i think..The Tiara Club
The ORIGINAL version that I loved!!!
Then they added more princess..ouhk...
Then they added more animals..hmmm
They changed the princesses..a bad move
They made a new series, changed the design, the look of the book and the princesses
I only read the series up to the 3rd picture. After that, I stopped. And by the time it hit the last picture (2012), the author did not publish anymore due to the really low number of sales..you see what I mean when you try to change, alter and modify something until it totally lost it's initial originality..?
A similar case for another series. My mum and sisters knew that I loved this series..and they got me 1 book every year for my birthday. (9-13)
Zodiac Girls
My very first copy..Sagittarius
Gemini
Virgo
My fav one so far, on my 12th birthday, my sisters got me this along with a Vanessa Hudgens Album!
I got the 2nd one, a year later
The last zodiac girls book I read.. the last sign Leo
I didn't manage to read the other signs like Capricorn, Pisces, Cancer etc...
I didn't read them, because they change the book..
This is the new version..and I am not too impressed with it plus I was getting older. At 14, I moved on to read, Sophie Kinsella and Jody Picoult.
KALEIDOSCOPE VIDEO
I just had Tiger biscuits with chocolate milk for brunch, and I am once again hungry. Maybe today, I'll actually cook something! And tonight, no more joking..back to my excersise regime with jogging in the evening, abs challenge in the afternoon and I have not decided what to do in the morning. Stairs? Yoga? Hmmm...
RIHANNA IS COMING TO SINGAPORE TOMORROW!!!!
But I am not going....haish! More about that tomorrow. Time to watch Warm Bodies!
Peace & Love <3
