April 2nd

Jurong East Swimming Complex with The Beach Boys

We decided to be spontaneous and do something after our previous TGIF sesh. Sara, suggested swimming and we were like, WHY THE HELL NOT?!

So it was to Jurong Swimming Complex the next day!

Sorry that I don't have much pictures to share for this really fun trip as there is no longer a functioning waterproof phone in the group. It was still a really fun day with the guys.

Zara Turns 6

I was with the guys but had to leave the first as I had to rush off for Zara's Birthday Celeb! Yeap, my baby niece is not so baby anymore. She turned 6.

April 4th

Inside the Knot Interview

This marked the date after AGES on job hunting and trying to get a job with a wedding company, that I finally scored an interview with this company. The only downside is that they were not hiring full timers but I joined them as an intern and couldn't have been more happy with the opportunities I've been exposed to.

April 8th

Free Ice Skating 

It's back to free ice skating for Poly and ITE students and a bunch of us went and then headed for TGIF.

There were so many Snapchat videos which is why the lack of pictures but I must say, A WHOLE LOTTA embarrassing moments were captured via video. Puva especially is a joy to have on the ice. HAHAHA 

Really hoping we all could most definitely go again.

April 9th

Swaglord's Performance

The NiggAPACHE went to support Fariz for his show. Yeap, this amazing guy was one of the actors and also the scriptwriter. Do you know how freaking amazing that is?! And the show was truly great! I wished I could have stayed longer to have watched the second show (But hey! At least I didn't miss anything as Fariz wasn't in the second show) and to have met him for talking, photos and all.

Regardless, it was super lovely, the show, your script, your swaggalicious acting and the fact that the whole group was there to show their love & support!!!

I had to rush off once again as I had a cousin's wedding to attend but I got the best of both worlds. I got to watch my really close friend for his show and got to dress up and attend his wedding.

Wedding Bells for Anis

Fazilah and Mama left first from their respective work places so it was just Raihan and me. I came home, rushed and got ready. We still had time to take some pictures and mess around with camera. I must add, Raihan's phone quality to take pictures is SPECTACULAR! 

At the wedding. Yes people, I am the only one wearing flats and yet I am still taller than my sisters and cousins in heels. Hahaha #TallGirlProblems or should I change the hashtag to #BenefitsOfBeingTall ? ;)

April 10th

Kotaraya with the Cuzzies

It was a rather outta the blue, spontaneous, random trip to Malaysia with them.

To sum up: AMAZING Street Chendol, Vadais, Papa Roti, Mee Goreng, Chicken, Foot massage for Habib, Sahanah and me and a full body massage for Zizi & Rai. Might I add, the foot massage along with the free neck massage which was thrown in was excruciatingly painful!

We ended the day with desserts from Secret Recipe. 

Molten Lava Cake with Ice Cream, Chocolate Fudge Cake, Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream and White Chocolate Macadamia Cake.

April 15th

Inside The Knot

This was my first day working for Inside The Knot. I learnt so so much about flowers!

This garland you see atop of the Range Rover was my first assignment. It is not exactly the best but it was my first real work and the car was the couple's getaway car so I was like AAAAAAHHHH! I was gushing about this news to Dalan and just when I was taking a screenshot of the picture from instagram, he whatsapped haha! Loved how his comment fit the picture. 

When your best friend actually shares your joy and is super supportive of what you do, it's really nice and pretty cool. And Asswipe, thank you for being so patient with me gushing about weddings for the past month ever since my job started. Hey hey! I was listening to things about PS3 too okay? Haha

Baby Zach's first birthday

The next day, which was my second day of work, I was involved in a set up for a One Year Old birthday party. It was office themed. Pretty cool. After this was another set up.

Shangrila Rasa Sentosa Resort

It was Inside The Knot's very first beach wedding and I must say I cannot be more thankful to be a huge part of it in terms of setting up. The solemnization part took place outside Shangrila hotel which was at the garden area. The dinner was held on Siloso beach. The couple decided to go for a Rustic Wedding Theme. 

For those who wanna know more about Rustic Theme, this is the kinda vibe you'll get.

Flowers, Flowers and MORE FLOWERS!

I have been dealing with a tonne of flowers be it real that I've learned to condition and all even make fake paper flowers. It's been pretty tiring but a hell lotta fun when you see the outcome.

A Sikh's Wedding

This was my first help out for a Punjabi wedding. The henna night was held at a hotel and we were in charged for the marquee lights, fairy lights and even the flower wall, similar for their wedding day 2 day's later.

April 21st

Wedding Plans

So, I have started with the planning of my own wedding, there's still A LOT that has to be done, but on a more or less rough note what has been worked out is the Guest List, Menu / Food and Door Gifts. It ain't much but it's still a lot of work even deciding those haha!

Fell in love with 2 things I spotted online, one is a scrapbook that says "Our Adventure Book" which can hold pictures of the couple's adventures throughout the time got together till the time they got married.

The next, is the beautiful Sophia Miacova in a Wedding gown. I am in love with the dress but I have one in mind, but its the whole updo, hair, tiara, make up that I am in LOVE with.

This ain't some overseas trip or anything but me just dressing up after ages and leaving the house for a breath of fresh air and some wedding planning do along with some innocent wandering about.

April 29th

Pre NiggAPACHE Day Celebration

This beautiful group turns 3 on April 30. We thought we will not be able to get everybody on Saturday so we decided to do something on Friday. Instead of our regular TGIF meetup, we decided to go someplace we haven't gone... OLD MARSILING! 

The biggest downfall was the fact that the whole group was unable to attend. Dalan was sick, Sharlini had work, CZY just finished booking out and by the time he reached, we would have left and Suraj had other plans. 

We had tonnes of good food and drinks. All dem Gorengs, Teh Tarik, Chendol, Bandung and Ari's AMAZEBALLS Ice Sculpting skills were shown on the Ice Kacang bought. 

Also a BIG FAT THANKS to the guys who guided a long lost girl who couldn't find her way to the spot y'all were at. Hehehehe

Forever & Always a girl who has a HORRENDOUS sense of directions!!! A huge perk when you have a group of guy friends, they can guide you smoothly!

April 30th

NiggAPACHE 3rd Anniversary Part 2.0

We couldn't get the full group yesterday, so we simply had to have another outing today. Plus, after all it is the official NiggAPACHE Day today. Ari was back in Malaysia and Fariz had a Staycation with his family, but they both had joined on Friday, so it was to get Dalan, CZY, Sharlini & Suraj to be able to join us. 

We decided to watch Civil War and it was SUPERB!!!!!

I had to make a pit stop at The Paper Stone as I was gushing over their notebooks. So in love with the make up one and the one titled Girl Boss.

The guys got the combo meals and received water flasks. Team Iron Man received Iron Man's head and Team Captain America, received the Cap's body with the shield at the back. But, it's the guys so they stacked it up together and it looked ridiculous yet funny as hell!

Suraj was unable to join us as he went to support his friend on a show and Sharlini was only able to join us after the movie, where we went to the newly located Al Ameen. It sure as hell brought back memories, but guys HONEST FEEDBACK!!!

The Teh Tarik is truly WAAAAYYYYY better at Al Azhar. But Al Ameen's Mutton Dum Briyani will now & forever be DA BOMB!

With this, The NiggAPACHE have had 3 beautiful, memory filled years together. Here's to an eternity more of our friendship and strong bond that I can only wish gets stronger. 

We all have survived 4 months of 2016 together and now it's time to embrace the fifth month together.
