This blog is just a WHOLE bunch of events that had taken place in May, June & July.
It's going to be a more picture filled blog as compared to words.
Here we go...
Let's start with Ice Skating. For the month of May, Poly & ITE students only had to pay $3.50 for the rental of skates. The $14 admission fee for the usage of the rink was free. So The NiggAPACHE decided to go.
On the same day, 5 of us watched Pitch Perfect 2 together and it was just AMAZING! Who could resist watching this movie?! There's the Pentatonix, DAS, Fat Amy, more amazing songs, and Jessie J's Flashlight! It was hilarious and there was even Keegan from Key and Peele!
Ever since I found out Pitch Perfect 2 was going to come out, and after watching the trailer multiple times on YouTube ads, Billboards and so on, I knew we all HAD to watch it and we did!!!
I haven't gotten over Frozen completely yet so I was all dressed up to portray #TeamElsa. That explains the skirt and shirt. Well, my shirt even had the word "Chill" on it. It was just so apt to use it. It has been quite some time I used my snapback so I decided to throw that on too, Elsa with a twist!
Sharlini looks so much like a Candy Cane!!!
Or even Waldo (as the guys call it)
Vishnu!!
Poor Adele.. only gets the weekends free now due to his internship!
Zac Efron!!! (Inside joke)
Sara! The couple tee with Sharlini. He chooses to think he was Freddy Kruger!
CZY!! This guy here is just like Vishnu! Can't ice skate for nuts! But, so persistent and honestly a huge ball of fun! Also, their resilience is admirable!

Up next, it was the annual Sunsilk Pop Up Salon. Last year, I went with Sharlini to Bugis + and we had the time of our lives. We even met bloggers like Eunice Annabel, Naomi Neo, Asyiha Ams and Rachel and took pictures with them.
Last year, the special thing was that they took pictures of us (individually) and our photos were printed out and we got to take back a booklet which made it look like we were on a Cleo Magazine cover!
Also, we had 12 hairstyles to choose from 4 categories and they were Fairytale Princess, Sunshine Babe, Downtown Fashionista and K-Pop Diva. I remember i picked Fairytale Princess and I was in LOVE with my hairstyle once it was done!!!
This year, babe didn't come. So I made my way to 313 Somerset. They didn't have the options they had last year. Both years, I signed up as a VIP so I got to skip the queue. But when I sat on the chair this year, all I was asked was whether I would want my hair curled or braided. Me being me chose curls of course. I must say.. I LOVED it. Especially with my short hair, it looked really cool and bouncy.
In terms of something special, this year they had Hair In Motion. This is where you walk on a treadmill and have a green screen as the background and it'll look like you are walking the streets of New York and so on. I went there without a big group of girls or even a girl for that matter. Felt really shy and did not end up doing it. But I watched like 3 different ladies do it. It looked really cute!
Before the salon, I walked around 313. Entered New Look and saw the FLUFFIEST bed socks and the most comfiest home uggs. Also thought I could buy my ballet flats but too bad it wasn't on sale and I gave it a pass.
Candy Empire although this particular outlet was really small. Saw the Ovaltine Spread but it was overpriced!!! But I saw this!! MARSHMALLOW FLUFF!!!
This was me. Hehe
Last year, I bought the Nourishing Soft & Smooth oil spray and this year I bought the Smooth & Manageable leave-on conditioner.
Next, I went to Typo and apparently, it's the Pugs season! Hahaha
Went to Popeye's to eat
CAJUN FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I always try to be all prim and proper and lady-like. And then fries come along and I turn into a 4 year old maniac! No wonder I'm still single! Hahaha
No guy would want a kid to deal with
I have some MUST TRY food! Already had Llao Llao and Honey Creme was next and since it was also at Somerset, I bought the comb honey ice cream and it was splendid!
I still had time to kill so to SCAPE it was! I'm sure y'all know that the glittery phone case is a thing now. You know where you can move the glitter inside by tilting your phone etc... Well, I was crazy about them. I am the world's biggest glitter fan! I even have my own Glitter Box where the box is filled with glitter glues, powders, confettis and so on!
There was a flea market going on there and I saw the most perfect case with PINK GLITTER! I even customized my name on it and it was just perfect! I do not have a picture of it with me but it'll be up on one of my blog posts.
Just when I was leaving SCAPE, I saw another pop up store and I just had to go. It looked so chic, so pretty and it had one of my favorite places - New York! It was the Maybelline Pop Up Store!
Over there, I spotted Puva, my primary school friend. She was there after her shopping spree with her polymate for clothes for her internship.
All the best babe!!
Doesn't it look gorgeous! The whole idea of it?! Well, the 3 of us were IT GIRLS for the day!!!

Sea Games was a HUGE thing that was happening. I mean we are talking about Shanti , Joseph and all these young elite athletes representing Singapore. I wanted to go for at least one of the carnivals with The NiggAPACHE.
We were supposed to go the one at Kallang Wave Mall. However, it turned out that we needed to have tickets. As in Sea Games ticket. None of us had it but we all wanted to go. There was free laser tag, human hamster ball, dunk basketball, a hot air balloon ride, even an adult bouncy house! That was the week we had a group "outing" at Khoo Teck Phuat Hospital because of me. Once again sorry guys and thank you for being there for me!
Since we needed tickets anyway, maybe it was a good thing we didn't go. The following week, we decided to go for another carnival. It was the one at Marina. It was called Ignite By The Bay. Only 4 of us went. Fariz, Aideel, CZY and me.
Sadly, it wasn't that hype but the one thing which was great was the free ice cream.
We got disappointed with the whole event. Then we saw an ice cream stall. All we had to do was to download 2 DBS apps. One app entitled us to one cup of ice cream. I was like why not we all download 2 and we get all the ice cream for free!
I didn't have 3G so I had to use CZY's hotspot. He couldn't install the app as his is a windows phone. That app is only for App Store (iPhones) or Google Play (Androids). He gave his hotspot to the 3 of us. Too bad as Fariz's & Aideel's phone both timed out.
I successfully installed both the apps and the guys thought I'll eat all the ice cream! I ain't that a pig guys! Only a little. When I asked for the ice cream options I was listed stuff like Milo, Pandan, Chocolate and the best one, Teh Tarik!
We already missed the Milo truck when we arrived so we knew Milo had to be one! The guys wanted Teh Tarik so bad. I was just skeptical and rather uncertain, But there's no NiggAPACHE without Teh Tarik so I decided to go for it! I asked for 4 spoons and we all tried them both.
It was just... SO GOOD! Teh Tarik is literally Teh Tarik (sweet, milky and all) just in frozen form.
No regrets there! It was just that good!
Raihan teaching my mum how to use her phone to take pictures. Cutest thing ever!
SO MUCH FOOD!!!

In June, I tried the abs challenge and I failed miserably after lasting till Day 14. I told myself for July, it will be different. So far so good. Although lately my appetite has been sky rocketing and I have no idea why. Well, I know for sure I should go back to the good old days of eating properly, working out regularly, keeping fit, being healthy and much more happier and stress free!

When we walked around a little, I saw this. I had no idea what it was but it looked pretty.
We even witnessed a sailing match and Singapore won the top 4 prizes!
After Sea Games, I went to visit my family. This year Father's Day is on the 21st. Since it's during Ramadan period, my family decided to celebrate Father's Day a week in advance. We went to the restaurant at Waterfront to have dinner.
Raihan teaching my mum how to use her phone to take pictures. Cutest thing ever!
SO MUCH FOOD!!!
They are really the cutest. On 14 July, they would've been married for 24 years. Just another year to a quarter of a century. That's amazing!
My sisters and I stalking them and taking secret shots
Fav shot of the night. Family shot!!!

It has been 2 years since I last read a book. I used to be an avid reader and ever since graduating from secondary school.. reading somehow just died. I didn't wanted to just be a girl who was overly engrossed with social media that I completely forgot about reading.
I wanted to get back to it. The joy of reading.. the whole feeling you get.. just like how you get lost and escape to a whole new world.. your imagination just runs wild and you can picture every single detail from the characters to the places they are at.. it's just magical and I wanted that so badly that I decided to march my bum to the National Library and got myself a good book.
It was a day of just goodness. Got myself a good book, The Wedding Diaries, and even good food. I had Thai food and also one of the best desserts - WAFFLES!
I did not just eat any old waffle, finally got a chance to indulge in Gelare. I had a scoop of Cookie Dough and Peanut Butter and the waffle was coated with maple syrup and even whipped cream.
Phad Thai
Pineapple Fried Rice
Mango Sticky Rice (Glutinous Rice)
I woudl honestly still want to purchase a packet of cookie dough from America as they don't sell those types in Singapore just the packet. There's even a cookie dough store there. Come on America!!! Please I wanna go to you real soon!!!
Here's to more books and welcoming the bookworm me back!

After my Frozen Frenzy days.. The next craze that I was going through was.. Minion Mania!
It was going to be a Minion Monday for me! School reopened, yea the 2 week holidays just went by so quickly. On the 22nd of June, lesson was at Singapore Sports Hub. It was near Kallang Wave Mall. I've been to the mall before but never the stadium and it was just AMAZING!!!
We were given a tour and was also taken to the V.V.I.P lounge!
I was decked out for the reopening of school. My singlet was yellow and my skirt was navy blue.
After lesson, some of us took the train and went to Suntec City Mall. We walked around and ended up watching The Minions! #TEAMBOB
I still love Stuart and Kevin but have a soft spot for Bob. I also realized that GV Suntec had a Goldclass theatre. The mall also had Alive Museum! I didn't go for that though but I sure would.. maybe not that but Trick Eye Museum and most definitely Madame Tussaud's one day!
I recently signed up as a GV member and when I received the GV member's card, it was the cutest asit was shaped as a popcorn!
I also went to get the minions banana flavoured Tic Tac the day before from Watsons. I also received the Minions Lunch box from Trendy World and it was the sweetest!
I had to go to McDonald's as there was so many things!!!!
- Curry Sauce is back
- There's the Spicy Nugget Meal
- The McFizz flavor was Bubblegum
- The Pie is now BANANA
- McFlurry now has Chocolate & Banana
Also, I really wanted to get a happy meal to get a toy for babe. She's so into minions. Way more than me actually. Too bad the outlet at Suntec! All the minion toys were fully redeemed but at least I got a happy meal toy! It was Mr Peabody & Sherman - An adorable maze game.
Sorry babe!
Well, there is something else though. I am trying my luck to win a Minions Hamper set. There's only 5 sets to be won and I am gonna try my luck!!! Hopefully I'll get it and the gifts can all be shared.
I'm still using my Minions phone case coincidentally. I didn't get the Minions movie set though as I know I won't finish it but for you Minion fans out there, GO GET IT!
Picture Time!!
Went to CWP's outlet of course as it's the nearest
Cathay
Shaw
GV
Even got Starbucks
Turning into a white girl more and more everyday (no complains there hehe)
Walking around.. somewhere near Padang I think (basically still near Stadium MRT)
A Lamborghini! And even that was Yellow!!
A happy girl at the end of my Minion Monday! But the madness / mayhem / mania of Minions haven't ended!!!

One of the HYPEST movie this year would be Jurassic World! Well, I'm sure it's not only me who thinks like that but a lot of others too.
Don't get me wrong. I'm girly as a girl can be. I LOVE PINK! I love to ogle at male actors and singers, I like sparkly items, I have my own glitter box, I adore Victoria's Secret, I plan to get married on a beach, I have always wanted a pink sidekick, I love weddings and can't wait for mine (especially the dress and so on), I am in LOVE with Elie Saab's dresses. Basically I am a girly girl, not gonna deny that.
However, as a kid, I have always had a HUGE thing for DINOSAURS!!! There was a point of time in my life that I wanted to be an archaeologist. I just find them one of the most fascinating creatures on this planet. Too bad they had to be extinct.
These are a few of my favorite species. Pterodactyl, Stegosaurus, Velociraptor, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus Rex (T-Rex) and Apatosaurus formerly known as Brontosaurus.
When Jurassic World was out, I knew I HAD to watch it in theaters and so we did. Some of the guys and I watched it and we ate the best thing while watching it. Aideel is on internship and he got his pay and was the sweetest when he got us 2 boxes of pizzas from Pizza Hut and... we (I shall not say how) smuggled 2 large boxes of it to the theater. Yup! We had pizzas and watched Dinosaurs!
It cannot get any more badass!

I have never gotten a chance to watch the National Day Show or Preview Show. The only shows I have watched would be the live telecast on TV. This year, I actually got a chance to watch the Preview Show and it was at Padang (major throwback to where it all began).
It's SG50 this year. It is Singapore's Golden Jubilee, We are 50! We have been an independent country for half a decade and that's a huge achievement. Once again, thank you so much for all that you've done Mr Lee Kuan Yew (RIP LKY).
This year I went with CZY and Aideel and the best part? We even got the chance to watch our very own OTHIFER march in the parade. It was so hard to take one good pic. I only managed half his face. I also saw my Primary School friend, Suthasson on screen a few times. I am so happy for them and I am sure all of us from NiggAPACHE is really proud of our othifer!
It was still funny that the preview show was held on the 4th of July which is America's Indepence Day!
Highlights of the show:
- The Funpack / Goodie bag
- The Band members suddenly swooping in sync the fan
- Jokes about Sir Stamford Raffles as he was waving
- Being told to rise for "Mr Tony Tan" then asking to be remain seated as it was a simulation
- Having veterans to march (and I'm talking about 60/70 years old)
- Watching and supporting Othifer
- Watching a bird getting almost shot by a dart
- The LKY Tribute
- TABITHA NAUSER!!!
- The jets and APACHE!!!
- The little kid stick men that lighted differently
- The army tanks
- The firework display (which was 3/4 blocked, but we saw 1/4!!)
Well, it was one hell of a show! The night ended off really well and the guys and I crashed at Mac for a while and just had a nice catch up session.

It was Ashley's 16th on 3rd July but we celebrated it on the 5th.
Yup, wearing my USA's flag shirt as it was America's Independence. (If it is 5th in Singapore, it's 4th in America).
My hair is so so so bad that a beanie MUST be worn. This is to ensure no one knew about my Bad Hair Day. I really cannot wait to rebond my hair. How am I gonna survive another month more of it?!
Well, let the pictures start...
LOTS of polaroids! A SUPER PRETTY colorful cake! Vanguard board birthday card & TONNES of FOOD!!!!!!!!!
Here we go and once again Happy Sweet 16th!
Cute Polaroids
Group Pictures
Old pictures! Sharlini and Aby look so much like their mum!!!

My Exams just ended..while most of it. There was lots of madness, lepak, slackiness, crazy ideas and things I wanted to do. Look at me now. It's 20th July. There's like a month more of school and then it'll be the study break and then the end of the semester..before I know it, I'll be on my 6 month internship programme. Time just passes by so fast. It feels like I am being thrown into adulthood faster than I can even say "I'm Ready".
Well, I'm going to take life as is it. One step at a time..enjoy all that I can and at the same time, prepare for my future.
Let me conclude my post with one of my FAV PASTAS!!!!
Aglio Olio!
Till next time
xoxo
