SAA Cultural Night

On 30th october, Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA) had their Cultural Night. Guess who were the planners? Yeap!!! RP! 10 of us students along with some facilitators have been working our butts off for this for months and finally the day came!

I was told a day before about the voting collection system and I had to improvise a container / box to hold the votes.

I managed to cut A LOT of cost by getting 5 of them which look like cheap Kueh containers and I added DIY in it by spray painting it black, painting on a mixture of pretty glitter and also using glow in the dark ink to write "SAA" on it.

It looks better in person but here it is anyway..

A random thing that also happened at that time was something really small but it matters to me A LOT! I changed my body lotion. This means that the lingering scent on me will change. I have been using this : Coconut from the Signature Vanillas from Bath & Body Works.

Now, it is changed to this which is a more mineral based lotion but it smells so fruity as it is mango-peach. After this ends, it'll be the new bath & body works lotions for me. They are ultra nourishing & moisturizing and also smell oh-so-heavenly!!!

Now, back to SAA! All the items we used to decorate and spice up the place.

And I must say food. We all ate A LOT that day. All the countless meals provided, the snacks brought by the facis and also the food from the vendors like satay, ice cream etc...

I was the SIA girl for the day. It was after all an aviation company and we had to add traditional elements inside..so why not? SIA it shall be. I was even deemed as the SIA girl by some of the facis in RP especially as I was going around collecting the votes! Hahaha

I really want to thank the facilitators to give me such a great opportunity. I mean to be in such an exclusive group with just 10 people, it makes me feel really special. Given a chance to be a planner for a fun event and having to do many things like sourcing for vendors, getting quoatations, setting up, decorating, tearing down and so on.. it just gives me a taste of being an events planner.

And SAA, thanks for having us. And.. for the amazing food!

Mini Halloween

Everyone knows that Halloween falls on the 31st of October. I really LOVE halloween and honestly it's my second favorite festival / celebration after Christmas. This year, once again, I did not really get a chance to celebrate it with the whole Trick-Or-Treat or Costume Dress Up. Moreover, I had my last fittings that day.

I still hope that in 2015, Halloween would be celebrated much more properly!!!

What I decided to do is to spend just a few hours with the NiggAPACHE for TGIF. How I decided to spice it up was to bring some hair props and get the guys and my babe to use it and we camwhored our asses off!! So, for 2014, these were our characters..

P.S: Sad that Mr.K & DON had to rush off and leave early and didn't get to spend the Halloween part with us.

Yellow -- Happyness

It has been a super chilled (kinda) week for me. Look at my outfit also, just a Nerd Crop top and my fav Hip Hop MC Hammer Pants a.k.a my Mood Pants.

So time for yellow. The colour that makes me happy and just brightens up my mod.

Last Friday, it was supposed to be a regular TGIF but a tragey happened..

My bestie, she lost her grandmother. I know that feel because when I lost mine, I was really shattered and broken.

What I decided to do was to visit Nini along with the guys to cheer her up and Aby also. You cannot bring a dead person back to life and all..but the ones who are upset and grieving, you can be there as a comfort, some moral support, a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on.

Her death came as a shock even to me and I am not even related. I cannot imagine how Aby & Nini must've felt. So project Cheer Up The Arjunans took place.

I must say, those 2 are a pair of really strong sisters and I salute them for that. I love them to bits and want them to be nothing but happy!!!

I am sure time will do its job and like I told her, take it that her Grandma is in a better place now.

Well, like what I texted you Nini, I meant it. Every single word. If you ever need someone to talk to, call or whatever it may be.. you have all of us with you and we will always be here for you.
