DFW Casting with le Prettyhead

The next 5 - 6 blog posts, were all done up days and some even weeks ago, but I just compiled all the pictures and have yet to write the content for them.

I have been really busy with many things and even school is starting to get busier and more stressful. Maybe it's because I missed a few lessons and need to catch up especially on Management Accounting and Macroeconomics.

I cannot wait to clear this semester. The last of numbers and graphs modules! Well, I sure do hope so. And I want to perform decently and not have to worry about repesting any of these modules!!! Dear God no please!!!

Lemme start by sharing some random pictures taken some time back..

Now... here's the fun part!!

Remember, in my previos post, I mentioned that I didn't get called or emailed or even hear an answer about the pre castings for Digital Fashion Week. However, a day before the casting, I actually got an email from one of the designers / show producers and he asked me to attend the castings.

I was so shocked!!! Also, it was going to be on a Monday afternnon, and that was the first day of school.

I was just contemplating. on whether should I give this wonderful opportunity a pass and attend school or just miss a day of lesson. After much deliberation with myself, I decided to just go for it and seize this rare opportunity and simply try my luck for castings and so I went for it.

Above, are just some pictures I took there. And below, are many many and MANY more pictures taken with Le Prettyhead!!!

Who is she you ask? None other than my girl Rinna!!!!

This year, only 3 of the 2014 TNPNF girls walked for DFW. Nicolle, Rinna and me. Nicolle is already signed to Carrie's, after all, she was the winner of Carrie's Model Search.

Rinna and I are both not signed to any agencies and we were the ones with no com cards and all. It is really rare for freelance models to get such a chance.

I didn't make the cut for A LOT of designers as I was deemed short. I am 175cm and that is really the bare mimimum for a runway models unless you are Kate Moss material (shortest runway model at 170cm). A lot of the times, the designers just ask girls who are 180cm and above or else they don't settle for anything below 178cm. Rinna is 178cm so I thought she had a way better chance.

Honestly, she and I just wanted to book at least 1 show and walk the runway. We were excited as hell because we were told to go for our fittings in the following week.

After the casting, we went to Smoothie King.

And then The New Face side of us came out and then we went over to New Look, drooled at all the shoes and then camwhored a little at a nice greenery spot we found.

Boys..Men.. calm down! I know this blog post will be filled with pictures of Rinna and she's really gorgeous so hold your horses and try not to drool so much! hahaha

Well that's all for now... such a "badass" and blogging during lessons!!!

There'll be much more upcoming blog posts!!! Like I said, the pictures are settled. I just need to find time to create and write the content.

Till then
