I was really happy for my cousin Nazirah on her big day. She's getting married. One of my favorite event are weddings. Honestly I am not the biggest fan of how they do it here in Singapore but I must say that I love going for them. 

The idea / concept that a couple initially has, the decor, the planning, the food, the music, the people, it's really wonderful when you manage to pull them all together and throw a great wedding for the couple and their guests. 

The only thing that sucked about this wedding would be me. Yea, that's right. She did her wedding on a Friday and not only did I have to rush after work but I had an overnight event which caused me to literally attend the wedding and leave in under 1.5 hours. 

I was struck with a really high fever and my throat was screwed up. What hurts was the fact that I barely good talk and my taste buds just died. Thank heavens it was just two weeks of torture. 

Raihan & I decided to twin. I told Momma and Zizi why not we adhere to the theme and go in black. All of us have elements of black and a touch of classic Old Hollywood. Raihan and I went for a head item (Rai, a hat hairband and I a flower crown), we went for dark lips (Rai using Mauve and I used the classic Red), we went for a statement necklace, black top and a patterened maxi skirt. To complete the look, the both of us towered in our heels and it was just fantastic. 

Look at her. My lil sister ain't so lil anymore. My Mother is a gorgeous woman who ages so gracefully, my older sister is the epitome of elegance. Raihan is growing up to be so beautiful. Gosh, I can only wish I bloom and blossom too! hehehe 

It sucked that I couldn't taste the AMAZING RED VELVET WEDDING CAKE!!!

Hey, at least I still took a good bite outta it. 

Boomerang time. Time to explore and play around with this app.

Terry / Huzair & Nazirah, I wish you both a happy, blissful marriage where you both never doubt the love you have for each other and are constantly working on yourselves as individuals and as a couple to strengthen your bond. God bless you both and I love you two to bits! For now,

Suicide Squad

We all HAD to make this into a NiggAPACHE thing and we went to watch it as a whole big group. Honestly don't you dare ask me to pick Harley Quinn or The Enchantress because their characters are both great as well as their real life persona which is Cara Delevinge and Margot Robbie. They both are stunning and really good at what they do. Yes, I am one of the girls who ADORE The Joker (Jared Leto) and also Harley. 

I totally love the craziness and carefreeness that they both possess as a couple. But how he actually treats her in especially the comics, NAH-UH Man! C'mon! I'm not psychotic. 

My baby, Will Smith a.k.a Deadshot was pretty rad. I loved him. Honestly, I cannot wait for the upcoming future rumoured movie with The Joker and Harley Quinn. 

Go watch this movie if y'all have yet to do so. 

We watched this movie on a Saturday and that was the day that Pokemon Go was released. I'll talk about this more in the upcoming segment.

Pokemon Go

There's 3 parts to this. But only 2, has pictures. When this game was released, the guys were CRAY CRAY about it. I didn't get the fuss. For the fun of it, I tried it on the guy's phone and I felt pretty meh. Eventually I decided to give it a go. 

The first time, the guys went hunting, I didn't follow as I thought it would be consuming a lot of data. It turns out that you can have your mobile data turned on for a whole day playing Pokemon Go, and you would've used only 70mb. The con is that it is really battery draining though. 

The guys took over Woodlands, Admiralty & Sembawang. Fariz even made a video, check it out below!!

Cloudwork TV PokemonGo - North Side Domination

After that day, I went with them to Sembawang and did my first outdoor Pokemon hunt and it was SOOO FUN & ADDICTIVE! I was excited and gleeful catching all them Pokemons especially the rare ones. 

Currently, I'm at level 18  and I am waiting to literally Catch 'Em all but I gotta be patient if I want them to have a really high CP (Combat Power). 

The main gist of the game is to catch pokemons, evolve them, train them in poke gyms and then fight against other pokemon gyms. 

As of now, other then wanting to complete my Pokedex, I have a few aims. 

1. Catch a Snorlax

2. Catch a Lapras

3. Catch enough Magikarp to evolve it to a Gyarados

4. Hit level 20 or surpass that as soon as I can

5. Take over a gym (at least 3)

National Day

This was a great day as for SingTel users, there was a whole day of free mobile data. There were supposed to be more of us but because people already had family plans, other things to do or were just pure lazy (HAHAHA!), hence, Dalan and I decided to carry on and go ahead with Pokemon Go Hunting. 

We took over Orchard, Somerset & Dhoby Ghaut and caught so many good, rare pokemons. The Town area was destroyed!!! Huehuehue. Nothing feels nicer than doing something you love with your friends. My best friend may be a guy and we used to have one major thing in common which is FOOD! And now, we have Pokemon that we love in common. Hahaha, it's so cool that Dalan teaches me so much about this game and even Pokemon itself. I thought I knew it from my childhood. I couldn't be more wrong. 

It's always cool when you're out having fun with your loved ones. For me, it comes in 2 groups of people. My family & The NiggAPACHE (practically my Ohana too). 

Thank you D for helping me catch all them hard-to-catch Pokemons! You're really the best!

Poke Balls

Carousell is one of my most sought out platform to get gifts for people. Be it birthday gifts or even well any random ones I must say. What I chanced upon and was in love with Pokeballs. The ones that you can open up and with all this craze with Pokemon Go, what better gift is this. 

I got a hold of a user who was selling this amazing set of 9 Pokeballs. There were 9 of us who were playing at that moment and who were hooked onto it. So each of us took our pick and let fate decide what Pokeballs we got.

The Lab

My family decided to have dinner together and YAY!!!! Habib joined us. Well, my sisters decided to dine at The Lab in Bugis and of course we were up for it. 

I have been to The Lab before but that was to try the amazing Galaxy Donuts. This time round it was a full round of dinner. I loved the food. Raihan got this heavenly milkshake, but I was just ravenous that I opted for Spicy Shrimp Aglio Olio Pasta along with a really sweet yet hearty dessert. 

My dessert was called White Princess. It was a Blueberry Bagel (My first Bagel ever!!!), topped with 2 large scoop of sweet Bandung ice cream. Along with it, they sprinkled strawberry pocky sticks and white chocolate. 

How can one not love this?!

Relaxation

With all the stress we face in our lives, sometimes we just have to sit back, relax, breathe, and do things to de-stress, calm ourselves down and simply enjoy our lives. 

For me, I do some Googling and visit Pinterest and find new things to do, things to get and learn so much. The Internet can be something so blissful and something deadly depending on what you use it for. To me, the Internet is a happy place where I go for inspirations and more creative ideas. Also, I found a couple of relaxing things that I'd wanna get in the future and just well, visually really pleasing. hehehe

 Shower Jellies

These babies can be used as a soap, a shower gel, shampoo or even a bubble bath. Chill them, freeze them or use them at bathroom temperature, pick up a slice and use it like flip-floppy soap, crush up a handful and squeeze it all over. Nutritious seaweed gel conditions your skin and softens your hair. Enjoy yourself. Make your showers much more interesting. This is what they do. Don't they sound so fun and a must to try? Exactly! I want mine now!!!

Bath Bombs

I have always wanted to have access to a bathtub. I do not mean like in hotels where I get to experience them once in a few years actually. But in fact my very own one. I would make a bubble bath. Light vanilla scented candles, play some music and just sink in and relax. Who knows? Even add a good book.

What would make that experience spectacular would be that, if a bath bomb was involved. Look at them, as much as I adore pink, I am in love with the galaxy ones. Just look at the picture below. You'll feel like you're taken into a another world when you step into your little universe. It is just lovely. 

Hot / Cute guys 

This is most definitely a relaxation point. Guys and Girls most definitely enjoy a nice relaxation and eye appetiser when they see good looking people (according to each individual). Some guys prefer curvy and thick girls, while others prefer more slender. Some girls love tall, and tanned guys while some might prefer shorter but way more bulky and muscular. To some, tattoos and piercings are a turn on while others might me put off by them. 

I grew up admiring and loving black guys. Will Smith, Usher, Chris Brown, Michael Jordan, the list can go on. But as I grew up, let's just say my taste in men became more diverse. I didn't mind White, Italian, German, Mixed, God knows what kinda man you are. 

For me, I love charming, mysterious men, with a bit of an edge. I cannot really define exactly what I like about a guy but it's just a spark. One of the guys, that I think has that is none other than...

ZAYN MALIK!

Look at him! He is a gorgeous piece of work and I adore him & Gigi! This is his shoot with GQ. But Zayn, has appeared on so many covers such as Elle, Paper, Billboard, U!, Complex, Luomo Vogue, Culture and so much more. This is my all time favorite though.

Colors. 

Colors make me really happy especially when I get to view a whole array of color palettes. I am more into pale and defined colors. I do not mind bright, and am still getting used to liking Neon colors. 

My fav artiste / designer / fashion illustrator has to be, 

The one, the only Hayden Williams. He truly is amazing and I love his art. It's really unique and one of a kind. To top it off, his outfit showcases so much originality. Even when he draws some inspired outfits, such as maybe a celebrity wore this certain designer piece, when he draws them, he adds his own touch that makes it extra spectacular. 

I am definitely gonna use his pieces as inspirations as Hayden is truly amazing. 

He takes the creative world by storm, This, I promise. 

I follow him on Instagram and even Tumblr. Through that, I realized that he uses Winsor & Newton Brushmarkers. The Hayden Williams Illustrations artwork are mainly colored with these.

Color Palette. I love the range that these Brushmarkers offer. It's like picking a shade to paint your room. It's simply lovely. And the assortment of it like how it goes ombre is fascinating. Who knows that color palette would be something that cheers people up... people like me at least. Hahaha

 SnapChat. This is an app that was created a while back and I was someone who only installed it and used it much later. I LOVE how your life can be shared in a picture or a short snippet of it (the 10 sec video time) just brings so much joy and fun. And the constant updates of filter is just cool. I love a few of them more than the others such as the flower crown, the infamous dog, and even the gold leaves and glow effectthat makes one look like a Greek Goddess.

This is my most recent personal favorite filter. I love the shade of the lipstick. And the shades are rockin!

I entertain myself by making the most random Snapchat videos and that does help me relax as I get to let loose.

Hanging out with family & friends. Having me time and time for your loved ones is really vital if you want to relax and de-stress. My family and The NiggAPAHE means the world to me. 

One recent thing that took place was watching Train to Busan with the guys. That was honestly an impromptu thing. 

We met for a usual hang out and somehow that led to us kicking ass in Timezone.

Never in my life would I have imagined that I actually would watch a Korean drama, let alone a Korean movie. But it was highly talked about and raved that we decided to give it a shot as it receoved great reviews and well, it was about Zombies.

Surprisingly, it was pretty good. A lil dramatic but hey, it was a pretty decent zombie movie.

Kardashians / Jenners

Some people hate them. A lotta people wanna be them. Honestly they are Hollywood's BIGGEST stars and the whole family made themselves a household name. They started from a reality TV show and now they each have ventured to doing thier own businesses. Well, don't blame me for favoring the Jenners just a teeny tiny tad bit more. Hehe.

Well here's some things about them. Some of you guys may already know this information while some of you may find this something new about them. As for people who have not evn heard of the Kardashians or Jenners, get outta your rock! Stop living under it! Who are y'all? Patrick from Spongebob Squarepants? Hahahaha

Kourtney Kardashian

She's a mum of 3 adorable kids and she's "The Lord" Disick, otherwise known as Scott Disick's long time girlfriend, and baby daddy! They aren't married and as of now, seperated. Scott used to be known for his quick witted comebacks. 

Kourt is a spokesperson. She is a lifestyle blogger too. She is a great mum and a health nutrionist. 

Kim Kardashian

We all know Kim was the reason why the kardashians got famous but she used her fame and turned it around. Her nett worth is now at US$53 Million dollars and what she has been doing is improving on her businesses such as being an App Developer. Kim is also an entrepreneur. She started designing bags and such and has made a huge business empire. 

Khloe Kardashian

Khloe is the youngest daughter of the Kardashian clan and growing up, she was picked on for being real big sized. How she decided to make a change was to engage a really good personal trainer and now she's rocking a body which is desirable by both women and men. She was known for going out with Lamar. She has been a TV Host and right now a really big  Fitness Enthusiast.

Kendall Jenner

Kenny has graced so many magazine covers the latest being the most prestigious, Vogue! Kendall also is a runway model and has walked for so many big names.. too many to even list here to be honest. She is the brand ambassador and face for Estee Lauder. Kendall has also walked for the 2015 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show alongside her BFF Gigi Hadid and they both had on their Angel Wings. She is more quieter I must say. She currently is dating A$AP Rocky and her love life, well, let's just she prefers keeping private and low-key.

This 19 year old is the MOST subscribed on snapchat. She has one of the highest followers on twitter and instagram. She has been dating Tyga for years now and they're known for gifting cars to each other. She is the younger one of the Jenner siblings and she followed her sister's footsteps and did some plastic surgery and got some lip plumping with the recent enhancement being a boob job. A lot of people looked "messed up" after a plastic surgery especially if it has gone wrong. However, for Kylie, it has done her wonders! It's pure perfection with her luscious pouty greatness!!! 

Kylie also introduced a new make up line last year called: Kylie Cosmetics where she started with just lipkits that consisted of a liquid lipstick and even a lipliner. As of now the make-up businesswoman is taking the cosmetics industry by storm especially with her products. She has branched out to eyeshadows (KyShadows), eyeliners (Kyliners) and so on. She only sells them online on her webiste during launches and re-stocks and especially if it's a new shade I am not even lying when I say it gets sold out within 30 seconds to under a minute! She's that good!!!

RIP S.R Nathan

There is so much that I would like to share on this portion with regards to the passing of Singapore's Former President. But, I have no idea where to begin, so I'd rather just share with y'all the following link to read up on all his achievemnets, contributions and even his personal life and history.

WDA - on board

I finally cleared all of my Final Assessments. Yes since WDA is a government agency. I had to go through an intensive 12 weeks of training which was actually dragged to alomost 3 months!

24 August was when I was officially on board and began working as a Customer Service Officer picking up calls with regards to WDA. 

One thing I love about my work are honestly the people. My batchmates, we started with 12 of us, are honestly one by one resigning. The people who are left are just 2 of us. Ayu (the girl in the picture below) and me. 

It sucks having to say goodbye to them. I just wish that they are happy with where they are at now and have a job that makes them way happier. Y'all are missed!!!!

The picture below was taken on Jefferey's last day. He decided to treat all of us at McDonald's but only 3 of us could make it, so it was Nas, Jeff, Ayu & me. Jeff  bought me a Happy Meal. 

You will be missed! I especially miss my lovely babes and all them Red Line heading-home-together crew!

The contract with WDA is for 6 months. I have just completed 3 months. Another 3 more months to go! I got this!!! Hopefully something better, something which my heart desires and a career that I would love to pursue comes my way and I am given an opportunity to be a part of. I really am sure that my calling is soon. I just have to think positive, be hopeful, never give up and keep pursuing to achieve my goals and dreams. Good and great things are coming my way, our way.

Girls Day Out

Honestly, it's been so long since I last had a Girls Day with friends. I have two sisters, but in terms of female friends, I actually don't have any best friends, but a couple of close ones along with hi-bye ones. 

I am honestly thankful to Vinod as through him I met 2 amazing girls, Famidah and Sangary and those 2 are truly the sweetest. 

In my life, I only have 1 group of closest friends and they are none other than The NiggAPACHE. It is well known that it is made up of guys and even my best friend is a guy. Well, I don't have any issues with that. I sometimes love it. Thing is, the guys are truly the sweetest and the best but there are times I wanna go all out and be girly and as much as I hate to say it, certain things I can't do with the guys, or even Dalan. 

If I did, they might not even enjoy it unless they are just weird hahaha. But like 90% of the things I can do with them irregardless of how girly it may be. It's just that 10% of the time where I want to go 100% all out girly. 

Thank heavens I know this 2 as after ages I had such a great birthday time to celebrate Fami's 21st.

LA Girl Eyebrow kit! Yup!!! Through this mega Watsons Sale in the middle of nowhere, I purchased my very first Eyebrow kit. I've used it a few times but.... I REALLY GOTTA LEARN HOW TO DO 'EM RIGHT!!!!

I have 3 Naked palettes at home: Naked, Naked 2 and Naked 3. The Naked Palette would be going to Fami real soon. 

And I can look forward to lunch at her place and expect Chef Fami's Specials!!!

JB with Zizi

Finally! The last segment of the blog. Phew! And it's the first week of September and here I am still typing for events that occurred in August. Well, at least this is the last bit of it. Fazilah and I went to Johor Bahru recently, yup just the 2 of us. I went to sew my very first saree...hehehe more about when Deepavali takes place. 

Along with it, Zizi & I did Mani-Pedi and then binged at Pizza Hut! It was simply AMAZEBALLS!!!

It was my first time getting a french manicure, I was so happy with it. But, I have weak nails which won't actually grow out to it's maximum potential. So, one thing I had realized, and that is that if I were ever to do a french manicure or a full fledge manicure, I would need to use fake nails. You know, the ones that you glue on and you paint those nails instead? And I am sure it'll look lovely. 

At least the 2 of us had a blast and a lotta sleep time in the car when we were caught in the Traffic. 

No saree pictures because, well, Deepavali is in end October, so I guess you could expect to see it then or in November's blog. 

May this year (the remining months) bring us a lot of happiness, goodness and everything we strive for and what our heart desires. May second chances be put to great use.
