The reason for this blog was to share with y'all what happened recently and the progression of it. During my UT3 period, one of my facilitators sent me an email regarding some modelling thing. I had no clue what it was and thought it had more to do with events (you see, that's my course). I said, I'll come down once it ends and decided to go there earlier on today in the morning.
I had no idea what to expect and did some research. To be precautious and a typical KIASU Singaporean, I packed with me a pair of heels and dressed in the only fitted outfit I had, a bodycon dress.
Woke up early in the morning to take a nice long bath and prep myself for it. Still had some time to camwhore as I was going alone anyway.
Left my house at 10am as I didn't wanted to be late. Made my way there and actually got lost and had to text my faci for directions! Finally managed to find it! It was in a rather hard to locate area. A lady immediately asked me to fill up a form. I was a little taken aback as it was a modelling registration form. OoO
Well, I filled it up anyways. She took my measurements which actually stunned and scared me a little and took me outdoors to take a full body and a close up picture.
When Elite gave the contract, I wasn't able to sign up with it although I most definitely wanted to. But this..this was something really different I must say.
She said there was going to be some interview and I may have to walk for them..but that didn't happened. Oh wells! Anyway, my faci asked me to send some pictures to that person and to Carrie Models as soon as I can. I shall try to get back in touch with the photographers I worked with when I did freelance modelling a year or so back. Come on, I wanna send some pretty darn good pictures!
So, with that being said, I left the place and went to hunt for some food before I made my way to Bugis.
Wanted to try Charlie Brown, but it was a lil too pricey for me. So I settled for some Steam Hainanese Chicken Rice from Food Republic, and discovered a Smoothie store. Yup, my first smoothie EVER! It was named Smoothie King! It's located at Level 1 of 313 Somerset.
YAY!!! PINK!!!!!
I bought the Angel Food and it was simply FABULOUS!

Now, about the 4 things that I really want badly, I guess as time goes, I'll keep y'all informed. For now, it shall just remain a mere description and not in detail.
1) Call for the job
2) Uploaded Widget
3) Contracted to Agency
4) Upcoming Competition
For no.1, it is basically, well, I am waiting to get a call from them really soon. Well all I can do is believe and have faith. I did all that I could do already. They said that they'll call in 1-2 weeks and tomorrow marks the 7th day. Let's hope they do call.
For no.3, I do hope after I send my pictures to Carrie Models, I get contracted pretty soon. Perhaps have the chance and opportunity to go for castings, and do shoots and runways and commercials. Let's hope this could be a positive stepping stone to modelling. Come on, people like Rachel Erasmus who was a representative of India in the first season of Asia's Next Top Model is part of Carrie Models.
My parents blew my chance off for Elite and i couldn't say or do anything as I was only 15 then. Now that I am of legal age, I do hope to be contracted by this year. Let's hope it really goes well for me.
As for no.2, I'll blog about it some other time, perhaps my next blog and for no.4, in about 3 months time.

Recently got an email to be RP's SOH Ambassador and I agreed and signed up for it. Let's hope I do get selected officially as it will be a gateway to many great opportunities and future events. Fingers kept crossed.
Shall call it a night as I have to go to RP tomorrow for the PBL Seminar Event Briefing. Part of the programming team for it next week. So, need lots of beauty sleep to calm the mind and soul and relieve any form of stress and tension my body has. :)
