G.P.A X Casting X Deepavali X Miss Gritty

Here's a little update on what has been going on in my life:)

I really wish I can write about something a little more personal but... its not possible at the moment.. Haish.. its so tough to stay all smiley and cheerful when I'm really not feeling like that deep down inside..

On Saturday, I woke up to a really high fever. I knew studying could not be done and even if it was done, it would not have been productive as nothing would really register in my head.

So I ended up having Ice Cream and practically chilling the whole day. It worked as my temperature went down by a lot. It was Deepavali and I was enjoying the movies they were showing on the tele. Bollywood and Kollywood movies..back to back. I also ended up watching tonnes of episodes from Sam & Cat on my lappy along with X Factor USA.I still am in utter dismay that Paulina would have kicked Josh out! He may not be the best in vocals but that kid has charisma! And..charisma sells!!!

Speaking about Deepavali, got me reminded of colors. I so want to take part in the Color Run 2014! The fee would be $50 for early birds..come on it's 5km and we'll look like a bunch of happy rainbow unicorns after the run! I so wanna join the Holi run next year!

The Color Run Singapore

I am sorry I do not have many pictures for this blog. That would be because, the cousins reunion for my uncle's 50th did not happen..well it did. But my family, just didn't go. As for pictures of my mandatory selfies, nothing because I did not go anywhere. 

This is just a random doodle cum design thing I was doing in class on Thursday, for my Business Statistics module. The reason why I took a photo of it was because, I did it at about 10.30am and this design was there till the end of the lesson! The facilitator did not erase it even when he was expanding questions on the board. My "ARTWORK" and mini "MASTERPIECE" !! Hahaha

This is not a very clear picture..but my name is up there. The 2nd column, 6th row..yep, the longest name. My name is there as I scored a GPA of 3.5 in Semester 1.

What makes me really scared now would be that semester 2 is really way much more tougher. Moreover, my daily grades are like Bs. Haish..I really need to buck up!!! I can do this! And I will do this! Baby set a target for me which was 3.8..I still think it's a little too high and hard to reach because of what I have been getting. My personal target would be to achieve better than what I did in semester 1. Which means...nothing below 3.6! I know I can do it. I just have to try harder and work smarter!

The reason why I put that link down..is because lately there has been a lot of controversy on-going regarding anonymous.

I mean I do agree mostly with what they say..but to wage  war against the government? Well, I don't really know about that. Anyway, they are talking about having this march on November 5..which is like this Tuesday. I don't even know if it is actually going to happen. But let's just see and find out. I do agree with the parts about people needing to know the truth and this country being democratic and all..but still why wage a war?

Okay, time to do some practices for my Financial Accounting and Business Statistics. Fingers still kept crossed about being selected and shortlisted for the photoshoot. I am hoping all goes well.
