Standard Chartered Marathon

Do not worry! I am not running in this! It'd be  too much effort! Part of my curriculum, I am a volunteer for this event. It's happening on the 1 December. Me, along with my crew for that day will be appointed at East Coast Park! Thank God we are at least appointed a good location. It's going to be for like 12 hours from 1am - 1pm!!! >.<

The journey back was really long and Nuriah & I talked a lot..she taught me a few things by sharing with me her life.

1) Even when life gets tough, put on a smile and carry on.

2) Appreciate even the most tiniest things in life.Be grateful.

I love you babe! To bits and you do inspire me! So thank you! And I wish you nothing but the best and just Stay Strong!

Well, the details and experience, I'll blog about that after the event. What happened was, yesterday, a couple of girls and I went on the recce. Well, I am glad that was over as if I had missed it, I'll have to attend the one next Saturday..I can't because of the chalet..YAY!!! Super stoked!!!!WEEEEEEEEEE

Problem is, on Friday, I'll have to take an MC..that'll be pretty time consuming and I am hoping not that costly. The things you gotta do sometimes.. ;P

It was a great day spent with my loved ones. I was using the navy blue dress I wore in Bali along with my yellow feather earrings and sunflower clip. This was all on Saturday. Woke up at 7. Recce was from 9.30am - noon. After that, we had cotton candy, popcorn and I tried the Banana pie at Mac which tasted so good. When I met up with Sharlini..well she was Nini Singh for that day! HAHA! It was raining so heavily. 

The guys were still at Dalan's house. We couldn't wait for so long..Nini got fries while I indulged in the New BubbleGum Ice-Cream! It tasted totes good!!! It's like what my Sem 1 babes used to say Sex-In-Your-Mouth! 

When they arrived, we went to Sara's house first. Did the routine! Kueh, Briyani and movie! I laughed so hard till I cried.

Next, was Vinod's house. Kueh, Briyani, a HELL LOTTA CHICKEN & MEAT! We watched the Possesion where I got so scared till I cried..haha well yea, I cry for movies! (and I got teased a lot too)

Afterwards, we all walked home. It was nice to walk back. Because I was bloated and needed to digest my food! 

Overall, my week went pretty well I must say..I am facing some issues in my house now but other than that it's all good! 

Like what Chicken Little says, Tomorrow Is A New Day! With that said, I am hoping for it to go well..4 days of school for me..huehuehue

G.P.A X Casting X Deepavali X Miss Gritty

Here's a little update on what has been going on in my life:)

I really wish I can write about something a little more personal but... its not possible at the moment.. Haish.. its so tough to stay all smiley and cheerful when I'm really not feeling like that deep down inside..

On Saturday, I woke up to a really high fever. I knew studying could not be done and even if it was done, it would not have been productive as nothing would really register in my head.

So I ended up having Ice Cream and practically chilling the whole day. It worked as my temperature went down by a lot. It was Deepavali and I was enjoying the movies they were showing on the tele. Bollywood and Kollywood movies..back to back. I also ended up watching tonnes of episodes from Sam & Cat on my lappy along with X Factor USA.I still am in utter dismay that Paulina would have kicked Josh out! He may not be the best in vocals but that kid has charisma! And..charisma sells!!!

Speaking about Deepavali, got me reminded of colors. I so want to take part in the Color Run 2014! The fee would be $50 for early birds..come on it's 5km and we'll look like a bunch of happy rainbow unicorns after the run! I so wanna join the Holi run next year!

The Color Run Singapore

I am sorry I do not have many pictures for this blog. That would be because, the cousins reunion for my uncle's 50th did not happen..well it did. But my family, just didn't go. As for pictures of my mandatory selfies, nothing because I did not go anywhere. 

This is just a random doodle cum design thing I was doing in class on Thursday, for my Business Statistics module. The reason why I took a photo of it was because, I did it at about 10.30am and this design was there till the end of the lesson! The facilitator did not erase it even when he was expanding questions on the board. My "ARTWORK" and mini "MASTERPIECE" !! Hahaha

This is not a very clear picture..but my name is up there. The 2nd column, 6th row..yep, the longest name. My name is there as I scored a GPA of 3.5 in Semester 1.

What makes me really scared now would be that semester 2 is really way much more tougher. Moreover, my daily grades are like Bs. Haish..I really need to buck up!!! I can do this! And I will do this! Baby set a target for me which was 3.8..I still think it's a little too high and hard to reach because of what I have been getting. My personal target would be to achieve better than what I did in semester 1. Which means...nothing below 3.6! I know I can do it. I just have to try harder and work smarter!

The reason why I put that link down..is because lately there has been a lot of controversy on-going regarding anonymous.

I mean I do agree mostly with what they say..but to wage  war against the government? Well, I don't really know about that. Anyway, they are talking about having this march on November 5..which is like this Tuesday. I don't even know if it is actually going to happen. But let's just see and find out. I do agree with the parts about people needing to know the truth and this country being democratic and all..but still why wage a war?
